Please do not read any negativity into my words. I did not mean this to be a pessimistic view, simply an observation (be it obvious or not).
I used vague language because I am writing in generalities...it is hard to be specific when writing a general statement that is meant to cover our entire species. This is not pointed at anyone in particular, if it were, I would confront them instead of make a post on my lj.
Also, since I do not know how man or society has acted throughout their existence, I can only state that it exists a certain way. Granted, I did make an assumption by using the word "become", nonetheless, I did not say if we became this way suddenly or not.
And I continue to live because I love my life and the people I choose to keep in it, but it is this feeling (love) that is the reason they and I am here...it has nothing to do with the people themselves, it is simply because of a feeling they induce in me.
You cannot deny that you profit from every relationship you have. There is some reason that you choose to be around a person or not. Even if it is charity, there is some reason you wish to perform this charity.
I am sorry if this post offended you in anyway, that was not the purpose. These were simply words that were in my mind (with the exception of the quote)...so I wrote them down and was not afraid to share with others. But whether you are hurt or not, I do not apologize for doing so.
