Whoops, looks like I missed recording a few finds!
On the 10th I nabbed a quick Park 'N Grab while out with the bf running some errands. Find #298, and closing in on that elusive #300.
On the 16th I went early morning caching with a group of local cachers. It took all 6 of us to locate the tricky nano for my #299, and then I ran back to TamarackGurl's car to grab the little sign I had made for celebrating #300! A fun, tricky little cache that was located with the help of a metal detector was a pleasant one to mark that achievement.
We then dug and dug at a cache we could see, but could not extract. One of our number returned later with better tools to dig it out and allow us all to claim the find. I'll have to return anyway sometime, because I need some info as it's part of a puzzle series, and that part he refused to divulge. (Or maybe just forgot to get and didn't want to admit that.)
After that we had an easy find, an easy to-remove, but tricky-to-find cache and then that was followed with a great little beginner cache that was well hidden for a really muggly area. I grabbed a really neat little geocoin out of the cache, that was made to look like a survey marker.
We followed that up with a tricky 3.5 Terrain cache. The hill was short but steep, and with the melting snow it was basically all slippery mud! Good thing I'm not too afraid of getting dirty.
On the 19th GeoCleo and I went to a grab a lone CARW that had been placed in our neighbourhood. It was a beautiful day and we got to see some early pussywillows! This was #306 total finds.
