i called my mom today. i was really excited to talk to her. i wanted to tell her how wel i was doing in school. i wanted her to be proud of me. i wanted to make her happy.
but she wasn't listening. she didn't hear me talking. she didn't acknowledge my happiness. she didn't notice the importance in my words.
she just changed the subject. and started ranting about how my dad is selfish.
