Combining our strengths, let's make '16 a good, healthy year.
Arashi reveal their '15 poor and fine plays!
Aiba: '15 started with Sho-chan's "Taishi Kakka no Ryourinin" and Nino's "Murder on the Orient Express" being broadcast.
Matsumoto: Without a doubt, those are good plays.
Sakurai: Next is "Sakura", huh?
Ninomiya: The theme for "Ouroboros". It's the first time we've provided the music. [TN: For a non-Arashi drama]
Matsumoto: (Acting in the drama, Ikuta) Toma also came to many of our shows, but for him, I think there are only poor plays (laughs). Next, Aiba-san's "Youkoso, Wagaya e" was a super fine play.
Aiba: Thank you!
Sakurai: I wouldn't have thought a drama with that kind of story would have such a cheerful song.
Ohno: But it suited it.
Matsumoto: When you put it that way, the work itself was a fine play, but while I was watching it wondering who "nameless-san" would be, there was someone beside me who would suddenly say the answers (laughs).
Sakurai: There is, there is someone like that!
Matsumoto: Unexpectedly, this time leaks came from a star himself (laughs).
Aiba: No, no (laughs). I thought the dressing room was a safety zone.
Matsumoto: When Aiba-san was talking to the manager about the drama, I happened to be right beside him, and I ended up hearing a certain name. About a week or two after that, was it with leader? We were discussing who "nameless-san" might be.
Aiba: I gave you a hint then, right?
Matsumoto: And then I instantly remembered the name he mentioned before. Gee, that was a shock (laughs).
Sakurai: That was a poor play. Next is "Waku Waku Gakkou". We starred with Hey! Say! JUMP, I think I did rice planting with Inoo (Kei).
Ohno: Apparently he said you were really kind.
Sakurai: He must have misunderstood... (laughs)
Matsumoto: Because Inoo himself is a poor play (laughs).
Ninomiya: You're strict with our kouhais. In that case, Inoo will end up with nothing but poor plays for the rest of his life (laughs).
Sakurai: But it was fun.
Aiba: We've gone for meals with all of JUMP-kun quite a lot.
Matsumoto: Our relationships have deepened, and we've exchanged many of our contact details too.
Ninomiya: Yamada (Ryosuke)-kun, Arioka (Daiki)-kun and Chinen (Yuri)-kun have even come to my house.
Matsumoto: Eh? Even though I haven't even gone?! (laughs)
Ninomiya: Going with the flow, we wanted to keep drinking together, and it was getting late too so I wanted a place where I could go to sleep immediately, so we decided to go to my place. But I should've invited the members first so that was a poor play on my part (laughs).
Aiba: And then Leader's solo exhibition.
Ninomiya: Matsumoto-san's portrait of Ohno-san was done by a paid professional, right?
Matsumoto: I drew it myself~ (laughs)
Ohno: Nara (Yoshitomo)-san praised it.
Sakurai: That's amazing.
Ohno: Even though you haven't drawn anything since the last time, 7 years ago, the evolution is amazing. I was thinking you've seen a lot of things in that time.
Matsumoto: It's the other way around. It's because we've seen 7 years of Ohno Satoshi that we can draw that.
Ninomiya: That's right. It's not that we've evolved, it's that Ohno Satoshi has evolved.
Ohno: Ahahaha. No, but they were really good, I was surprised. They're fine plays by all of you.
Aiba: Matsujun's artistic touch was on a completely different level though.
Sakurai: He suddenly put shading in.
Ninomiya: It's like he went to a school somewhere once (laughs).
Aiba: Next has to be Miyagi's "BLAST".
Sakurai: Rather than that being ours, I think it's a fine play of all the related parties.
Ohno: When I was drinking with Aiba-chan in one of our rooms in Miyagi, we started saying how we should go to a bar in Ginza for the first time in a while, but when will we go?
Matsumoto: What if you decide the date here?
Aiba: We decided once, but the times didn't match, so we said we should go once the concerts start. But since the dome concerts have already started too... Shall we go next year? (laughs)
Sakurai: Ahahaha, that's the pattern where they definitely won't go.
Ninomiya: How many years have you been saying that for?
Aiba: Since when he brought me when I turned twenty, so 13 years (laughs).
Sakurai: Wasn't that that time when Ohno-san pretended to go to the bathroom and went home? (laughs)
Ohno: I'll pay next time!
Sakurai: This is a bluff too.
Ninomiya: Since he's been dining and dashing for 13 years (laughs).
Matsumoto: And, this isn't about us, but I'm happy we were able to backdance at V6-san's concert.
Ninomiya: Though we were allowed to take part as a form of celebration.
Aiba: Our senpai were really cool so I was happy to be able to be there.
Matsumoto: How about "Arashi ni Shiyagare"?
Sakurai: Aiba JAPAN?
Aiba: That's all poor (laughs). As expected, we have to win. We'll show you a fine play in '16!
Ohno: I made the hat for MatsuJun's birthday present well.
Matsumoto: When I'm wearing that hat, I hardly see Ohno-san. I've been properly aiming for it while wearing it, though.
Ohno: You wearing it when I can't see makes me happy too.
Matsumoto: And then the tour. It's become a more enhanced show of Arashi in recent years. What is Japan? What is Johnny's? With that kind of worldview, it's participative and there are things to see too.
Sakurai: Then Nino's film ("Haha to Kuraseba") and drama ("Akamedaka", "Botchan"), having so many consecutively is amazing. I don't know which I should watch (laughs).
Ninomiya: I'd like you hopefully to see them all. Consider it a Ninomiya Kazunari trilogy (laughs).
Matsumoto: Where's the stamp rally? (laughs) [TN: when you collect special stamps from train stations and tourist attractions]
Ninomiya: Well that's for people who have seen the whole trilogy.
Aiba: You'll give out a prize.
Sakurai: Add the 4 members to the lottery.
Ninomiya: (laughs). I can't say what the item is here, so instead it'll be dispatched (laughs).
Sakurai: Then, shall we have our man of the year for '16 close it? Ohno-san.
Ohno: Eh? Me?
Ninomiya: There's no one else (laughs).
Ohno: I might be the man of the year, but I'm not really mindful of it. Well, combining our strengths, let's make '16 a good, healthy year.
