She had gotten everyone's attention already. Something that none of them has achieved through out the whole night. "Once, long ago in this villa, during it's construction in the 1400's, a little girl went missing and no one knows where she went. Even until now, no one knows where she went." Tsuki told the story.
"Really? And what does the girl look like?" Kei asked. He was curious if this was maybe the little girl. Tsuki thought about it and got the book from the coffee table.
"I know that her picture's in here somewhere." she said as she browsed the book. She finally came upon the page. On the page was a picture of a girl wearing a white dress and hugging a teddy bear. Though the picture was sepia, Kei and Ryuutaro know what they saw.
That was the little girl.
Below the picture, there were some words. It read:
Madeline Sforza. Went missing in the year 1410 when she was only 5 years old. Taken around the time of her disappearance.
"Madeline... Sforza...?" Kei stuttered. She was surely to be dead now.
"That's the little girl..." Ryuutaro muttered. The rest of the group seemed schocked and only stared on the photo. Those black eyes looking at them, as if, she was out to get them.
"Madeline Sforza." Yabu uttered her name.

"How are you even so sure about that?" Nami asked as Kei told her about what he had learned the previous night. They walked into the lobby where they noticed something strange. Most of the guests were already checking out. Kei noticed Yuto and Yamada pass by and was wondering what was happening.
"Hey. What's going on?" Kei asked the two younger ones. Yuto just shrugged.
"We don't know. Everyone's checking out all of a sudden." Yamada replied as he too was wondering what was going on. It all seemed that the other guests were in such a hurry to check out. some of them just wore a coat over their night dresses and others were still in their pajamas. The reception was full and none of them could just suddenly slide in.
"Why don't we ask them?" Yuto suggested as he started to approach someone who was waiting impatiently to check out. "Uhm... Hi. I was wondering why there are so many people suddenly checking out?" he asked frankly to a woman who was really impatient now.
"The question is why aren't you checking out. This place is haunted I tell you." she told him in an irritated way.
"Haunted? In what way?" he asked looking confused. Kei and the the two observed from afar what they were talking about.
"Didn't she visit you last night? That little girl? She said that if we didn't leave the next day, we'd all be dead. Of course, I don't want to die. Would I be crazy not to leave?" she asked.
"A little girl? Did she have a teddy bear and was wearing a white dress?" Yuto asked. The lady looked surprised.
"Did she visit you too? Then why aren't you leaving yet?" she asked.
"She didn't really visit me..." Yuto replied to her. The lady shook her head. Yuto thanked her and went back to Kei and the group. Kumiko suddenly approached them also wondering why every guest was checking out except for them.
"Nami-san!" Kumiko approached them the smae time Yuto came along.
"Kumi-chan." Nami greeted her as well.
"Well, it seems that out little girl appeared to our guests our think and forced them to leave with a death threat." Yuto explained after ha had a conversation.
"Doesn't seem nice." Kei commented as he saw the line move bit by bit.

As the line decreased, they all started to grow weary why they didn't have apparitions like the other guests. As the last guests were leaving, Ixa sprang up from her seat and sighed deeply. It was already 10:45 pm and all the guests were officially gone. The villa was deserted now and they were the only ones left.
"I'm checking out." she stated plainly as she headed for the reception. Amanda's eyes widened as she heard her roommate say that.
"What?" Amanda demanded as she sprang up from her seat. Ixa turned around to face her, her eyes filled up with the anger of what might happen.
"Don't you think that it's kind of stupid for us to be here when we're the only guests left? I mean, Kei and Ryuutaro almost died! You saw her the other day and so did Yuuki. She's approaching us one by one! She wants us dead!" Ixa explained.
"And how do you know that?" Amanda asked. Ixa didn't bother to reply and headed straight to the elevator. She was about to press the button when suddenly everything went out. The electricity had gone out. And everything went dark. They all suddenly felt shivers down their spine.
"What's going on?" Aya asked as she felt scared now.
"I don't know. Some sort of black out." Keito answered. Some of them opened their phones and noticed something dreadful.
"Guys... I don't have a signal..." Rina stated.
"Me too..." Risa agreed. None of them could call anyone.
"I'm a little teapot,
Short and stout!
Here is my handle,
And here is my spout!
When I get all steamed up,
Hear me shout:
'Tip me over,
And pout me out..." They heard a nursery rhyme being chanted over and over again. They all looked behind them to see the little girl holding her teddy bear and slowly approach them. At first they thought that she was walking, but soon they noticed that her feet weren't touching the ground.
"It... it's her...." Mia said as she felt like she was paralyzed. She couldn't move her bones or her limbs.
The little girl stopped a few feet away from them. She smiled at them. Her eyes seemed a bit more black then they were previously.
"Madeline..." Chinen uttered the name they had seen the previous night. The little girl giggled when she heard her name being said.
"I want to play... Let's play tag! I'll be it, and if I win, you'll all remain here and play with me for eternity. But if you win, I'll let you go without any hesitation." Madeline stated her game and her preposition.
"A game? Are you serious?" Kumiko asked.
"It's either that or death!" Madeline pouted. "And besides, I'll give you all ten second head start! Start running. By the time the clock hits 12, you all win. But let me warn you. I have never lost a game." Madeline warned.
Madeline started to count and everyone rushed off. There was only an hour or so for them to survive. But she never lost a game. Will they all be victims to her?

"Ne~ We got away! That was close!" Kumiko said as she accidentally followed Yuto into one of the cleaning cabinets. Yuto just panted silently as they both heard footsteps walking across the hallway silently.
"I'm scared. I wish I didn't have to come here." Kumiko whined silently as she sat down on the floor beside Yuto. Yuto sat beside her and tried to comfort her.
"Eh! Kumiko-chan! Don't be scared. I'm here with you now." Yuto said as he let Kumiko bury herself into him. They heard the footsteps pass by them and they shut themselves up so that they won't be heard by Madeline who seemed to be on a hunt for them. This was literally a matter of life or death. They had to survive the next hour if they wanted to live.

"That was close. She was behind us while we were still running here." Yamada panted as he and Amanda entered the little museum in one of the highest floors of the villa. Amanda was still panting as she was tired from running all those flights of stairs. Yamada looked around and found some interesting things in the museum. "Check this out." he said as he found something interesting.
Amanda walked over to where he was and saw what he was showing her. "Is that... what I think it is?" Amanda asked as she looked a bit disgusted and surprised as she read what was on the plaque of the item. Both of them looked at each other and couldn't believe what they were actually seeing. "How could they be so disgusting!" Amanda silently yelled.
"What could be so disgusting?" Ryuutaro suddenly popped out of no where. Amanda was about to scream cause she was surprised had it not that Yamada, Aya, and Ryuutaro covered her mouth. Madeline could be anywhere now.
"SSSHHHH!" the three said in unison.

"Why does this have to happen to us?" Risa complained as she and Hikaru ran though the garden. They passed by the well where Ryuutaro earlier nearly drowned. They reached a tree where Hikaru could easily climb up. "Ugh! You don't really expect me to climb up that tree now do you?" Risa asked as she saw Hikaru now climbing the tree.
"It's ok if you don't want to climb the tree! I won't feel sorry if that ghost girl came after you. You never know, she might just gnaw you up and spit you out." Hikaru taunted as he positioned himself for a better view and just in case Risa wanted to climb up. Risa just looked at him blankly and shook her head. Suddenly, they heard footsteps approach ad the grass was being stepped on.
"Pull me up! Pull me up!" Risa complained as she held her arms out and waited to Hikaru to help her up the tree.

"Rina-chan! Rinaa-chaaaan~!!" Keito tried to yell as quietly as he can as he searched for Rina when the two of them both met up in the basement by mistake. Rina thought he was Madeline and rushed off somewhere into the loomy darkness. Keito had now worries since she might get into an accident or something like she could be caught by Madeline. Was he really that concerned?
Still, there was no reply from the darkness. He used his hands on the wall to guide him though the darkness since there was not a pinch of light to make him see where he was going. His footsteps mixed in with the sounds of the drops of water. He couldn't use his eyes to guide him through the ridiculous patch of darkness.
"Keito-san? Is that you?" he heard a voice say. Keito was relieved to have found Rina from the darkness. He immediately approached to where the voice was coming from and found Rina in a corner hiding.

"You followed me! Then you scared me half to death!!!" Mia yelled quietly as she was still angry when Chinen surprised her. She hated that cause she thought that it was Madeline that was out to get her. She didn't know that Chinen was actually still running from Madeline when he accidentally bumped into Mia who thought that Chinen was Madeline. And then, while Mia was still ranting on how she hated what he did, they bumped into Daiki and Ixa who were also trying to avoid the deadly Madeline.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean too!" Chinen wailed silently. Behind the two of them were Ixa and Daiki who were watching out whether Madeline was right behind them or anywhere near them as they walked the halls of the abandoned villa. Little did they know, she was nearby and watching them as they silently made their way to a safer place. As if they could hide from a ghost!
"I can see you!" Madeline's voice was heard down the hall. But they didn't know whether it came from the front or from the back. They were in trouble big time this time. Suddenly, Daiki noticed that Ixa was suddenly gone from his side.
"Ixa? Ixa!" Daiki called out to her name. Mia and Chinen looked behind them and noticed that too. The three of them walked back to see if they could find Ixa. When they reached a certain part of the hallway, they saw a figure standing very still. "Ixa? Is that you?" Daiki asked as he approached the figure. When the figure was clear enough for them, it was Ixa alright. But there was something weird about her. She just stayed put in her place as if she was petrified. Chinen and Mia waved their hands in front of Ixa. But she still stayed position was still as if she was walking and didn't know what hit her.
"What happened to her?" Chinen asked as he kept on snapping his fingers in front of Ixa's eyes. He still didn't know what had happened to her or why she was just frozen there.
"Boo!" a voice surprised them from behind. Madeline had tapped Daiki's shoulder and he suddenly froze there like what had happened to Ixa. Chinen and Mia were paralyzed from the series of events that they themselves were tapped by Madeline and all of a sudden, they too were petrified as if time had stopped for them.

"Yuuki-chan! Wait up!" Yuya said as he tried catching up with the girl as they climbed the stairs up to other floors of the villa. Since the electricity was out, they had no choice to do it the long way. Yuuki was already on the next flight of stairs while Yuya was resting on the foot of the other one. She leaned against the wall while she saw Yuya 'limping' his way up the dreadful flight of stairs.
"I thought you were a dancer..." Yuuki said as she watched him climb his way slowly, thus making her a bit impatient.
"I am... *pant*...." Yuya panted as he rested again on another step as he looked upon the stairwell above where Yuuki was looking at him.
"Then you should have stamina." Yuuki told him as she watched him climb up the stairs.
"I don't have that much. We've been running, climbing and running more ever since this rar race started!" Yuya said as he got the energy and slowly climb up the stairs and reached Yuuki. "I'm just tired." he said as he told her face to face.
"Lover quarrel already?" Reiko said unexpectingly. Yabu was behind her trying to hold hid laughter after the both of them had watched what was going.
"How long have you two been hiding out here?" Yuya asked Yabu who was still trying to hold his laughter after what he had seen. It just looked so much like a drama. Yet, Yabu was so amused by it.
"We haven't been here long." Reiko replied who then nudged Yabu to stop laughing his butt off.

Kei and Nami had accidentally stepped into the ball room of the villa where all the family portraits of the Sforza family were displayed. It seems as if it hasn't been taken down ever since they left this villa. The two still wondered why the portraits were still hanging there. They walked through it to suddenly stop and gaze upon the portrait of none other of Madeline Sforza.
"That's Madeline... she looks so peaceful there." Nami commented as she looked at the large portrait that hovered above them. "It's as if she doesn't have a sin in the world." Nami even noticed the small casket on the table below Madeline's portrait. She was about to open it when suddenly...
"But I did have a sin!" the two suddenly heard the voice of Madeline from behind. They turned around to see Madeline behind them, and what seemed to be crying. "I ran away! I ran away from everyone who ever cared about me." Madeline admitted herself as she faced the two head on.

"I am still wondering why the rest of you were hiding in a basement and the others were just playing poker in the stairwell." Ryuutaro complained as he rammed into Yuya by accident when he was looking for a way out from the creepy room. Yuya was the one closest to the door since he wanted to lean on it and rest.
"I wonder where the rest are?" Mia said as she was looking for a bathroom. Even they had to go during times of crisis. Mia opened the door to reveal Kumiko sleeping on Yuto's shoulder. Yuto sushed Mia before she could wake Kumiko up. Yuya noticed the commotion and approached the closet.
"Uwaah! I wanna sleep on Yuto too. No matter how bony he is." Yuya commented as he tried to squeeze into the closet and sit down beside Yuto. Yuto got up leaving Kumiko surprised.
"I just wanna sleep on ya!" Yuya said as he started to chase Yuto around.
"Boys will be boys." Kumiko commented. Keito and Rina suddenly appeared beside them causing almost all of them to scream since it was super dark and no one could see a thing.

"...I hated them... then... they buried me alive..." Madeline stated her story as she wiped her tears away with her teddy bear. Nami felt pity for the little girl.
"So, you're really innnocent... poor girl..." Nami said as she tried to approach the girl. But, Madeline stepped back and looked at her with her black eyes.
"I wanna play a game... I wanna play first to die." Madeline smiled as she started to approach Nami who took a few steps back. And as Madeline was really close to Nami, the doors flew open to see the group arriving then stopping in their tracks as they saw madeline turn around to also face them.
"Eto... we will just be going now..." Yamada said as the group turned around and was about to exit the room. However, the doors flew shut when Madeline motioned her hand to close it.
"On second thought, we might stay for a while longer." Hikaru joked around. Kei just slapped his forehead while the rest sighed. This wasn't the time for them to be joking around. But it seems that hikaru just didn't get it.
"You'll play the games too..." Madeline giggled. (Man! This is one scary little girl.)
"Wait... Madeline, I wanted to ask you a question... what's in the casket over there below your portrait?" Risa suddenly asked to stall time. There was only 2 minutes before midnight. Thus, two more minutes before all their butts would be saved.
"In that casket...? It has my teddy bear..." Madeline answered and skipped her way to the casket and opened it to show a headless teddy bear. "It's head went missing when they dug up my body. Then, they incinerated me and stuffed my ashes into the body." Madeline even explained a bit further.
"So... meaning... that's your body? Inside that body?" Keito asked. Madeline nodded.
"Could you please keep down? I don't wanna miss this shot..." Madeline said as bows and arrows appeared from flames. She positioned herself to take aim for Nami who then couldn't move even an inch. Madeline suddenly stopped in her tracks as she realized that Rina was now holding the headless teddy bear and that Ryuutaro had an ugly look on his face as he was holding what seemed to be a skull. Kei was disgusted where they could've found such a skull.
"Where..." Madeline tried to say as she recognized the skull that Ryuutaro was holding. It was none other than her skull. Madeline suddenly froze herself as she stared at the skull, her skull that was now about to touch the fabric of the teddy bear. Madeline was about to speak when the clock suddenly hit midnight and Madeline couldn't do anything about it now. They had won and she had lost.
"I lost? I lost..." Madeline said quietly as suddenly everything returned to normal. Before anyone else could say anything, Madeline faded away and time seemd to continue normally. The skull vanished as well as the teddy bear. Daiki and the others were out of petrification and could move freely again. And eversince the incident, the villa was closed down so that no one could ever endure what they had to.

"I can see you!" Madeline's voice was heard down the hall. But they didn't know whether it came from the front or from the back. They were in trouble big time this time. Suddenly, Daiki noticed that Ixa was suddenly gone from his side.
"Ixa? Ixa!" Daiki called out to her name. Mia and Chinen looked behind them and noticed that too. The three of them walked back to see if they could find Ixa. When they reached a certain part of the hallway, they saw a figure standing very still. "Ixa? Is that you?" Daiki asked as he approached the figure. When the figure was clear enough for them, it was Ixa alright. But there was something weird about her. She just stayed put in her place as if she was petrified. Chinen and Mia waved their hands in front of Ixa. But she still stayed position was still as if she was walking and didn't know what hit her.
"What happened to her?" Chinen asked as he kept on snapping his fingers in front of Ixa's eyes. He still didn't know what had happened to her or why she was just frozen there.
"Boo!" a voice surprised them from behind. Madeline had tapped Daiki's shoulder and he suddenly froze there like what had happened to Ixa. Chinen and Mia were paralyzed from the series of events that they themselves were tapped by Madeline and all of a sudden, they too were petrified as if time had stopped for them.

"Yuuki-chan! Wait up!" Yuya said as he tried catching up with the girl as they climbed the stairs up to other floors of the villa. Since the electricity was out, they had no choice to do it the long way. Yuuki was already on the next flight of stairs while Yuya was resting on the foot of the other one. She leaned against the wall while she saw Yuya 'limping' his way up the dreadful flight of stairs.
"I thought you were a dancer..." Yuuki said as she watched him climb his way slowly, thus making her a bit impatient.
"I am... *pant*...." Yuya panted as he rested again on another step as he looked upon the stairwell above where Yuuki was looking at him.
"Then you should have stamina." Yuuki told him as she watched him climb up the stairs.
"I don't have that much. We've been running, climbing and running more ever since this rar race started!" Yuya said as he got the energy and slowly climb up the stairs and reached Yuuki. "I'm just tired." he said as he told her face to face.
"Lover quarrel already?" Reiko said unexpectingly. Yabu was behind her trying to hold hid laughter after the both of them had watched what was going.
"How long have you two been hiding out here?" Yuya asked Yabu who was still trying to hold his laughter after what he had seen. It just looked so much like a drama. Yet, Yabu was so amused by it.
"We haven't been here long." Reiko replied who then nudged Yabu to stop laughing his butt off.

Kei and Nami had accidentally stepped into the ball room of the villa where all the family portraits of the Sforza family were displayed. It seems as if it hasn't been taken down ever since they left this villa. The two still wondered why the portraits were still hanging there. They walked through it to suddenly stop and gaze upon the portrait of none other of Madeline Sforza.
"That's Madeline... she looks so peaceful there." Nami commented as she looked at the large portrait that hovered above them. "It's as if she doesn't have a sin in the world." Nami even noticed the small casket on the table below Madeline's portrait. She was about to open it when suddenly...
"But I did have a sin!" the two suddenly heard the voice of Madeline from behind. They turned around to see Madeline behind them, and what seemed to be crying. "I ran away! I ran away from everyone who ever cared about me." Madeline admitted herself as she faced the two head on.

"I am still wondering why the rest of you were hiding in a basement and the others were just playing poker in the stairwell." Ryuutaro complained as he rammed into Yuya by accident when he was looking for a way out from the creepy room. Yuya was the one closest to the door since he wanted to lean on it and rest.
"I wonder where the rest are?" Mia said as she was looking for a bathroom. Even they had to go during times of crisis. Mia opened the door to reveal Kumiko sleeping on Yuto's shoulder. Yuto sushed Mia before she could wake Kumiko up. Yuya noticed the commotion and approached the closet.
"Uwaah! I wanna sleep on Yuto too. No matter how bony he is." Yuya commented as he tried to squeeze into the closet and sit down beside Yuto. Yuto got up leaving Kumiko surprised.
"I just wanna sleep on ya!" Yuya said as he started to chase Yuto around.
"Boys will be boys." Kumiko commented. Keito and Rina suddenly appeared beside them causing almost all of them to scream since it was super dark and no one could see a thing.

"...I hated them... then... they buried me alive..." Madeline stated her story as she wiped her tears away with her teddy bear. Nami felt pity for the little girl.
"So, you're really innnocent... poor girl..." Nami said as she tried to approach the girl. But, Madeline stepped back and looked at her with her black eyes.
"I wanna play a game... I wanna play first to die." Madeline smiled as she started to approach Nami who took a few steps back. And as Madeline was really close to Nami, the doors flew open to see the group arriving then stopping in their tracks as they saw madeline turn around to also face them.
"Eto... we will just be going now..." Yamada said as the group turned around and was about to exit the room. However, the doors flew shut when Madeline motioned her hand to close it.
"On second thought, we might stay for a while longer." Hikaru joked around. Kei just slapped his forehead while the rest sighed. This wasn't the time for them to be joking around. But it seems that hikaru just didn't get it.
"You'll play the games too..." Madeline giggled. (Man! This is one scary little girl.)
"Wait... Madeline, I wanted to ask you a question... what's in the casket over there below your portrait?" Risa suddenly asked to stall time. There was only 2 minutes before midnight. Thus, two more minutes before all their butts would be saved.
"In that casket...? It has my teddy bear..." Madeline answered and skipped her way to the casket and opened it to show a headless teddy bear. "It's head went missing when they dug up my body. Then, they incinerated me and stuffed my ashes into the body." Madeline even explained a bit further.
"So... meaning... that's your body? Inside that body?" Keito asked. Madeline nodded.
"Could you please keep down? I don't wanna miss this shot..." Madeline said as bows and arrows appeared from flames. She positioned herself to take aim for Nami who then couldn't move even an inch. Madeline suddenly stopped in her tracks as she realized that Rina was now holding the headless teddy bear and that Ryuutaro had an ugly look on his face as he was holding what seemed to be a skull. Kei was disgusted where they could've found such a skull.
"Where..." Madeline tried to say as she recognized the skull that Ryuutaro was holding. It was none other than her skull. Madeline suddenly froze herself as she stared at the skull, her skull that was now about to touch the fabric of the teddy bear. Madeline was about to speak when the clock suddenly hit midnight and Madeline couldn't do anything about it now. They had won and she had lost.
"I lost? I lost..." Madeline said quietly as suddenly everything returned to normal. Before anyone else could say anything, Madeline faded away and time seemd to continue normally. The skull vanished as well as the teddy bear. Daiki and the others were out of petrification and could move freely again. And eversince the incident, the villa was closed down so that no one could ever endure what they had to.
