Or one of them, anyway....
I'm visiting
linda_does_nz!! This is a business trip in order to discuss strategic Rodent Army hirings and firings. At least, that's what I'm telling the tax man when I claim back my train fare.
Firstly, there was The Car Incident, in which Linda couldn't get her car to open with the remote. She clicked and clicked, and checked the car's dashboard to see if the red light was blinking. I suggested the remote battery might be dead, when she suddenly turned around with BIG Bambi eyes and said in a horrified voice... "...oh shit this isn't my car...."
I think she'd realised her mistake when she saw the fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror. I didn't know Rednecks had taken over Scotland's Central Belt.
Then we went into Asda to check out military manuals. Linda got sidetracked by the children's books.
We spent last night drinking too much, eating too much pizza, scoffing Mr Porky scratchings and gossiping. As one does when one is handling sensitive confidential military information.
Today, we got up late, drank copious amounts of tea, slobbed in our pyjamas until noon but STILL managed to be organised earlier than
ereneth, who is supposed to be feeding my cats. I reckon Luki's stomach thought his throat was cut.
Also, we have sat on a bench in the garden, drinking beer and eating Easter Eggs. It doesn't get much better than this!!
Tonight, we're off for Chinese food. Nom nom nom!!
TEN-HUT!!
