This is my tiger boy, my blue point Siamese. Rough 'n tough 'n loves his cuddles.

Isn't he handsome? (clicky for bigger pic)

he's lovely enough that after we lose the girls, i'm considering an abyssinian or a siamese like him.

...i have this problem with losing things, animals, people that i love. i know they're going to go away someday, but it never actually HIT me that THIS IS THE TRUTH--SHE IS GONE FOREVER until minna died. it hurts as much today as it did the day i called the vet and said 'i can't watch her hurt like this anymore'. i had had plans to get another cat, years in advance, and that was what i consider the worst mistake of my life...that i picked the cat too soon, and because of her price and justin's pressure, not because it was the RIGHT cat at the right time.

however, yes, i have plans already for when washu or nika goes...because i still know i need to keep myself ready...but THIS time i will meet the kittens, not take an older cat that nobody else wanted.

i am hoping to get one as regal and loving (hopefully less rough, i am delicate) as your boy.

I know how you feel. It ached like a bitch when Peaches died. Even though I believe we all join the great consciousness at the end, and I will be with her again, it still hurt.

Pedigrees can be expensive, even ones without registration like mine. I took older cats because I didn't want a 20 year commitment. Also, everyone goes for kittens and I felt good giving a home to two beautiful cats who nobody wanted.

And they are so precious to me. When I'm sad, I can cuddle them, and when I'm happy I can play with them. I love them a lot.

i don't mind the expense. and actually, i honestly would not at all mind adopting another adult, since who knows what a kitten will become, but i have to MEET the cat and interact several times before i'll even consider bringing one home. i've learned my lesson ( ... )
