Any interest in getting Red Cross First Aid/CPR Training?

After a recent incident with a relative of a friend (who at last report was OK), I realized that it has been a really long time since I've been through a decent First Aid course. I got a CPR refresher about 3 years ago, and it's been even longer since I did had a decent First Aid course. When I was growing up, I had hot and cold first aid training -- Boy Scouts, Lifeguard training, even school had several courses. Those sources have dried up a bit as I've gotten older.

So... I was wondering who out there in LJ-land might be interested in going to some training sessions? I'm thinking about somewhere in the mid-August time frame. There are courses just about every day and every weekend, and I'm thinking of going to one of the all Saturday courses.

I'm thinking of taking one of either the Adult CPR & First Aid or the Adult, Child and Infant CPR & First Aid courses. Here's the skinny:

Adult CPR & First Aid (8 hours) $54
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR & First Aid (9 hours) $69

Yes, the prices are more expensive than I'd like -- but so are the consequences of being unprepared!

To paraphrase myself: Safety equipment [and knowledge] is unnecessary... until you need it.
