who ever you are if youre straight edge it doesnt matter who else is straight edge. why? SxE is for you and only you. its YOUR life not some one elses, this works both ways if your not SxE it doesnt matter who is. SxE, hardcore scenes, scenes and society in general is retarded, not on the concept level but on the level where "humanity" has taken a good idea and made it imperfect(much like religion.) anyways. if someone you knows is sxe and they sell out whats it to you? now when you hang out they go and smoke a fuckin huge ass blunt big deal does that make you mad? it shouldnt why? because its not your fuckin life. but but it goes against the beliefs of the whole sxe mentality!!!!! oh wait but if you look at the old school original sxe kids a good majority have sold out. does that mean you hate them? does that make them bad people? maybe at the time in there life when they became sxe it was what was best for them and they chose that path but along the way it turned out that they didnt really like the life that they were leadin thus the change. if i stopped listenin to hardcore and only listened to music they played at club bang would you all hate me cause i rep hardcore to the fullest and i believe in what it has to offer me... so if i sold out the hardcore scene would that make me a bad person? i should hope not it would mean ive grown up and out of that stage in my life. to wrap things up dont hate people for choices they make not regarding you. hate people for being dicks.
