I'm not a big fan of relationship tattoos unless you are married, even then it's a bad idea most of the time. But what about the coordinates of your locations? That would be kind of cool.

If you aren't dedicated enough to each other to move to be together, you probably shouldn't get matching tattoos. (and I've been in a long-distance relationship for over 6 years.) But the coordinates are a cute idea!

That's not really fair, what if people are in the military or studying at different universities or have to travel far away for work? Doesn't mean they're not dedicated!

That's true. I guess I just figured that if someone wanted a "long-distance relationship tattoo" it would be for a relationship that was part of a permanent, somewhat-voluntary long distance, rather than being separated temporarily due to travel, school or the military.

this is true. a lot of people assume immigrating into the US or out of the US is easy- it isn't. I immigrated to Canada, and even though I was from the US it took 18 months for paperwork to be processed- and I Was lucky.
I've got a friend locally who also immigrated here from the US on a visitors visa- she hasnt been able to work for 2 years and couldnt go back to the US in the event she'd not be let back into Canada.
