Blame it on Friday
It's generally known that on Fridays, brains just shut down in preparation for the weekend.
I didn't realize quite how true this was until I was looking at the puzzles in the Express (newspaper) on my Metro Ride in.
They have the ubiquitous crossword and now sudoku, but they have also added a "scrabble" section. Basically they give you 4 sets of 7 tiles and tell you for each one if there are any double word scores, first letter triple, etc. You follow the same rules for scrabble that if you use all the tiles you get 50 additional points, so I always try to use all 7 tiles in the word. Somedays I get them right off the bat, and other days I can come up with nothing more than "a".
Today, one of the sets gave the following tiles: A U S S H M P
What does it say about me that the ONLY thing I can come up with is "asshump"?
