As many on my f-list experienced first hand, the DC area had an earthquake at 5:04 am. The epicenter was approx. 1 mile from my house. Benny and I woke up trying to figure out what it was: a loud truck, a low-flying plane or jet? Not with the walls shaking that much! It was over quickly and nothing fell off walls, but it was still scary because I live in freaking GAITHERSBURG, MD! Not California!
One coworker suggested that we blame BP. They cap the oil spill and the next day DC has an earthquake. Coincidence???
