10 Things I Like About Hue
mersipan did a color meme and offered it up to anyone else and, well, it's Friday, so...why not? She has assigned me 10 pictures of things I like that are the color yellow.
1. It's the color of my favorite shirt. I lost it in a bar crawl in like 2000. I had only worn it once. ETA: that is bzoppa with me in the pic.
2. Mellow Yellow: Cool song, great soda. I despise Mountain Dew but love Mellow Yellow. Quite right, Slick.
3. Sunshine. It makes me tan, it makes me warm, it makes me happy.
4. Paella. Awesome dish: rice, chorizo, chicken, seafood and saffron.
5. Speaking of expensive...gold. My favorite jewelry color.
6. Daffodils. While the color of forsythia in the springtime grates on my nerves, nothing looks more cheerful and happy than a yellow Daffodil poking it's head out from the ground after the dead of winter.
7. Blonde! My hair color. If anyone says otherwise I will argue them to the death.
8. Baby Chicks. Cuz seriously, is there anything cuter?
9. Peeps. While not a fan of the candy, I am a fan of the Peep Diarama Contest the Washington Post holds each year.
