My brother is going to pick up an engagement ring tonight!!!! He says he knows himself and won't be able to wait long to propose, so...he'll do it soon!
OMG I am so excited and happy for him. The woman in question, Amy, is so wonderful. She's outgoing and fun and thoughtful and nice. It's going to be a match made in heaven.
So he picked out the setting and had to wait for an appropriate diamond to come in, but it's 1 karat, radiant very good cut (so, square and very sparkly), SI1, I color. That will only make sense to a few of you, but it will be very pretty. Set a platinum band with two round side stones and tiny pave diamonds in the band (total k weight in the band .43). It's gorgeous.
I can't wait to have a sister-in-law...again!
