Bad Ramen, Trains & The Pact

Jul 31, 2009 19:17

I made some instant Ramen at 6.30 and it's the kind where you just fill the container with hot water, put the lid on then wait 3 minutes. Yeah I left it for about 17. =\ mehh. I blame LiveJournal. It wasn't very good.

I went to the Red Sox game earlier this week. =] It was a lot of fun. My dad takes me and my sisters every year. We took the train in and I just lovee trains. A lot. I found myself wishing that I had a job deep in Boston so I could ride the train for like, 2 hours a day. As long as I had a seat. Haha. On the way back from the game the train was crowded. I was frustrated. I was tired and wanted to sit and was thinking, "what the heck are all these people doing, riding a train at midnight?"

I had to stand and hold onto the bar. My ankle was killing from all the lurching of the train starting and stopping. I kept losing my balance. Once I even completely stepped on this poor girl sitting down.. she was wearing flip-flops. I apologized quickly and I felt terrible even 10 minutes later because she looked really upset even before I stepped on her. Her eyes were all puffy and the man standing beside her was asking if she needed any help. I really just wanted to hug her.

I've been going to starbucks a lot this past week. The employees must think I'm gross. Well, actually I bet they see a lot of the same people.. hmm.. okay scratch that.. The employees must think I'm unhealthy. Haha. I went once planning to get some major writing done but that didn't go well. I didn't even write one word. I'm so absorbed in my summer reading book.

The Pact by Jodi Picoult has stolen hours at a time from me. But I love it. It's a great book. Very well-written. And it makes me want to write. So that's what I'm off to do. =]

I'm going to the Cape tomorrow to visit my uncle and cousins while they're living down there for the summer. Hopefully the weather is nice enough for us to get out on his boat. =D

See yaa.

hugs, trains, red sox, late nights
