New Pet!
I now have a bird...hooray! Chico is the most kick ass bird ever! There will be a ton of pictures soon of course, and maybe a visit to the dorms tomorrow. I felt horrible for her owner; it was obvious that she didn't want to give her away, but children can get in the way of everything. Chico was so well cared for by her... she can say a ton of things for a small parrot...she's a ring-necked parakeet...and can say chico-chico, step-up, come here, what are you doing? where are you?, chico pretty bird, and meow like a cat...plus she kisses and she's sweet...I love her so much, and I'm so excited for next year...I'll be able to take art classes, finish most of my awful bio classes, live in an apartment with shanna, have chico and otis, and set up my fish tanks and frog hex...yay for independence!
In other news Abe and I went to Duluth for his friend Jeff's bday...it was so much fun, and very amusing. Jeff's the funniest drunk I've ever seen...and he wants to be a pastor...weird. Then we stopped at the duluth petco and saw the cutest rabbit ever...he looked like a mini sheep..so fluffy and cute...if shanna hadn't named her frog fuzzy lumpkins that would definately have to be that rabbit's name. We finished off our trip with a surprise visit to Krista's...that was nice as well. What a beautiful house they have, and it was just nice to hang out and chat. I'm glad we got our weekly visit in afterall, and it's too bad we couldn't have stayed longer.
