Memories To Swallow The Sun:
I call to the clouds
please bring me release
I scream from the street
but there is no sign of rain
I am lost in the desert
A sidewinder swiftly creeps at my back
And i can see visions
From my rock standing tall
But where did the days go
This season has turned dark
I can't seem to find my way
And the heat threatens to kill us all
But i am still crawling
Trying to find meaning
Trying to find a cure
You said you would be here
But no one can stay forever
In between the dizziness and nausea
I see memories of a person i used to know
The sand is slowly sinking
And i am the nucleolus of the pond
Like so many rocks before me
I shall drowned in this swamp
The cacti watch listless
And the buzzards circle my head
Im reaching for her ghost hands
And soon i will be dead
But it was nice while it lasted
The sun at high noon
The hour glass' tipped over
As my eyes reach the sand
My last breath is consumed
