well its just a little too early to jump in the car so just a quick update
nothing much has been going on. went to the pig roast last weekend. it was a ton of fun and it was great to see maggie and all of dave's friends that i haven't seen in awhile. much homemade wine was had. i'll leave the story there =)
had our first pre-cana class last night. it wasn't too bad. i got a brochure about natural family planning (NPF for short) which taught me all about not using devices or chemicals to prevent pregnancy. i learned about how you can't have genital contact during the woman's fertile time if you want to avoid pregnancy. it was quite a funny brochure! leave it to the catholics.
had my training for sunday school teaching. learned all about how not to abuse children and how to pick out people who do abuse children. its a whole big program in the church now to stop child abuse within the church. no matter how you feel about the whole scandal that rocked the church, i had to appreciate that the church was recognizing there is a problem and trying to do something (even if small) to stop it from continuing. i don't know when i teach my first class but i am kind of excited about it.
well i think thats just about all. oh i got new hotplates at work! new hotplates, are well... HOT!
