Strange Recommendations Post...
I was on the phone with my Mommy today and she was distressed about Christmas. Our finances are painfully tight this year (without going into too many details, lets just say that parents have been borrowing from me, and I don't exactly have much money to my name). But, she realized that I haven't asked for anything, and she wants to make sure I have at least a present to open come Christmas day.
Part of the reason that I haven't asked for anything, though, is that school has sort of left my "free-time" gone and useless. I've become painfully disconnected from it. And, she wants a list of possible things (so she can shop around a little, surprise me some-- Mom really likes doing that) and I have no idea what to say. I, of course, won't ask for something for the sake of asking for something, though. : P
So, my question, o internets: if you were to recommend anything (probably along the lines of a book or a CD or video game or something, but feel free to recommend whatever you like) to me, what would it be and why? It shouldn't be too expensive, but I'm curious what sorts of things people would recommend.
