(no subject)
I've been pretty busy lately with school work and such. Scholastic Decathlon's started meeting already. I think it'll be a good year for us. Mu Alpha Theta starts meeting on Wednesday, I just found out about this from the sponsor about 2 days ago. Gee, what exellent communication skills we have in our club between the sponsor and president.
I got a 99 on my AP calculus test. The test was on Monday and we got them back on Wednesday. I was really surprised because I thought I mixed up a few things, apparently I didn't. School's been relatively easy lately. Not too much work. We've run a few labs in AP physics already. One about the period of a pendulum and one on the effects of gravity on the uniformly accelerated motion of a toy car down an inclined plane. That sonic ranger took forever to set up though. First my calculator hooked up just fine into the CBL and the sonic ranger, but then it gave us an error. So we switched to Jeremy's calculator. It wouldn't let us past the first step. Next was George's calculator. His wouldn't even turn on. So we asked Mr. Galin for a new cable and finally got the program to run on my calculator again. By the time this happened, we had enough time to run 2 trials.
Work isn't so bad. I worked from 6:30 'til close last night with Natalie. I missed the football game though. I wanted to go. Oh well. So anyways. I was supposed to be in the back stocking the whole time, but because Natalie sent me to grab something for her to eat and she had to eat and do an ear piercing, I was on the floor most of the time. But I did get out at 10 which is definitely better than 11 since I don't get paid past 9:30. Unfortunately, because I was so excited to get out, I forgot to grab my paycheck. There's 25 hours worth of work on that thing and I forgot it! Ack. Oh well. I can pick it up today when I go to work... I'm working from 11:30 to 6:30.
Oh and um... A guy in my AP Physics class asked me out on a date for tonight. I think he's a pretty nice guy so I decided to give him a chance... I think he said we're going to go to that new teen club that just opened up on *insert road name here*. So uh... yeah....
