first time poster!
HAY! I'm Rachel, 31, and live in Texas with boyfriend and dog. I have always enjoyed snooping in others' rooms, and finally mustered up the courage to post my room. It's relatively new, as we bought this house about 6 months ago.
excuse the dust! i've done a lot but still not finished finding homes for everything, but i did complete 90% of the mural that envelopes the room.
i have never been able to live minimally, but i do hope to be more organized. i have a very active imagination with lots creative projects so things get a little messy at times.
the desk area...i like to think of it as MEGA DESK (like Dwight's from The Office, lol ). i have a craft table, computer table, and drawing table.

i LOVE this built-in that came with the house.

one of my favorite places in my room....the coffee corner! i have had those little cabinets for years just waiting for the right time and place to put them up. love them.
my huge old tv and movie armoire.
and just to the right is a wall with some found artwork, and some done by me.
this is the bed. i love my new headboard; my boyfriend made it for me. and i love the heck out of those floating shelves which i have collected for years and carted to and from apartment to apartment. i have them all over.
BEHOLD!! my WALL O STERILLITE. i collect an array of things......and i believe over time sterillite has become one of my collections. weird, i know. it is on my to-do list that i finish labeling all of them; they mainly hold various art supplies.
directly right of the WALL O STERILLITE is my vanity. It is an antique maple with a swivel stool. It is so gorgeous. I love the glass top! That cage to the right on the floor actually holds my hairy baby, Mable, when we're both at work.
directly above my vanity is another wall of my floating square shelves. :)
to the left of the WALL O STERILLITE is the door adjacent to my craft cave.
it's a little hard to make sense of this room, but this is it in a nutshell. i'm not a fan of the window "streamers," i need to find something else. the wall color was also not my choice; i think a nice stark white would be refreshing.
my closet is in the craft cave. excuse all the mess:/
