HELLO EVERYONE~
I've posted
here exactly two months ago, and in those two months, lots of changes have taken place in my room.
Here's the view from the door. The piano and side table have been moved out and I got a new coffee table/bedside table and chair.
What you see on the right of the door:
The quote is stuck onto the side of my book shelf and those dresses hanging there are newly thrifted and I haven't decided what to do with them yet.
This is at the bottom of the shelf. The YES is there to remind me to stop being so negative and start saying yes to trying out new stuff, take some risks y'know.
The wall to the left of the door. Wardrobe, bookshelf, CD stand and the back of the door.
Next to the wardrobe is the mirror (and me), and then my Polaroid wall, dresser and bed.
Top of the dresser. The tea box holds nail polish, I like using food boxes to hold things and tea boxes are always so pretty. The "table cloth" is actually an old curtain that is rubbish at blocking out light but so pretty.
& the top of the mirror has this quote
The other side of the door, a map (of Asia and Eastern Europe) and my desk.
The frames on top hold 3 pictures from an old 2008 Vogue or Bazaar Nippon editorial. I'm thinking of changing those to various Marc Jacobs campaigns but I find it so difficult to tear stuff out of magazines. I like my magazines intact, even if half their pages are ads.
Still don't like the lamp even though it's very good for the eyes, ugh. It's an eyesore.
The porcelain dishes are from Daiso, originally meant for sushi, but I use it to keep my non-pen/pencil stationery. The Ben and Jerry's mini-tub holds paperclips and the like.
This is below the map, at the side of the desk. An old Yves Saint Laurent campaign and my most comfy pair of heels.
And right below my window, the coffee table. Its top is a piece of frosted glass, which I loveeee. One cannot go wrong with frosted glass.
Fake peonies, and some of my to-read books. The brown stuff in the transparent vase is some assortment of dried flowers and leaves. The jar holds odds and ends and whatever change I have left at the end of each day. The dish is full of random stuff that I use when/before I sleep (lip balm/sleeping mask/comb). I love that feather clutch, it's the bag that I use the most, so no point in keeping it in a drawer since I take it out all the time.
This is what it looks like at night with fairy lights.
Thanks for looking!
