again so excited to live in a yellowy oranges undecided up for change state
love my mom to death for oh so many reasons
and how similar we both are
sometimes she votes green sometimes blue sometimes red.
so i was worried this year because she has sent me some pro-mccain stuff a few months ago
and she said she was scared of obama... im not sure why really?
but anyway its all ok now!
i tried to talk to her and get my dad to mention the palin issue
so today she asked who i am voting for
and i told her obama
and i told her how scared i am of palin
and she understood
and said some amazing things that made me open my eyes
she said she felt like Sarah Palin was talking down to women
with all her hockey mom soccer mom stuff
"yes i am a mom and a field hockey mom but i am also a woman with a career and life of my own"
fuck yea you are mom!
and she felt like Palin was belittling what women do!
oh man i had never looked at it that way
and couldnt figure out why i didnt like it
well now i really get it!
Sarah Palin shows women as two things! sexy and providing for the family... and thats it
and really our american women do SO much more then just drive to hockey and put on makeup
and thats why i could never vote for her
well just another reason really
shes a fucking failure really
my mom also gets brownie points
she sent me and tyler really some candies!
they were buckeyes from ohio state
everything was all ohio state decorated
and they are peanut butter covered in chocolate
amazing! and exciting
go buckeyes! i like college football!
