18 vs 29 (Korean) - Fun, fresh drama, good after watching an angsty one. Nothing much to it. (5/10)
49 Days (Korean) - It broke my heart over and over again, but it was heart-breakingly delicious. To be honest, for me Jung Il Woo as the Scheduler stole the entire show. (8/10)
A Gentlemen's Dignity (Korean) - Light, lively, lovely and charming, this drama leaves a sweet enough taste to be able to enjoy it, although it is in no way perfect. (8/10)
A Hundred Years' Inheritance (Korean) - She's a modest loveable girl dealing with depression following her divorce from a philandering husband and years of being psychologically abused by her mother-in-law. He is a rude and uptight guy battling his own demons as a result of his wife's death in a car crash year ago. Throw in the necessary amount of dysfunction, birth secrets and monster mother-in-laws and we have one of my all time favourite OTPs. A good, strong family drama.
A Love To Kill (Korean) - One of my all time favourite korean dramas and extremely under-rated. It it the most beautifully filmed drama I have ever seen, and it has some amazing scenes, acting and music. Rain and Shin Min Ah are fantastic together. (10/10)
A Man Called God (Korean) - Your typical 'hero seeks revenge' drama, although this one is saved by Song Il Gook's acting
(despite his hair) and chemistry between the OTP. (7/10)
A Thousand Day's Promise (Korean) - It has enough emotion (backed by Soo Ae's acting) to make you feel and cry, but ultimately it's predictable, not living up to its potential. (6/10)
Ad Genius, Lee Tae Beak (Korean) - This drama went nowhere. Nothing ever happened. Nobody had chemistry with anyone, and the one couple who had chemistry didn't end up together. Disappointing all round. (5/10)
Aishiteru To Itte Kure (Japanese) - The best Japanese drama I have seen so far, and even though it was filmed in 1995 it's worth watching it. There is just something about it. (9/10)
All In (Korean) - Casino, gambling, the mafia, childhood sweethearts, and oh yeah LBH looks hot. (8/10)
Answer Me 1997 (Korean) - The drama of your past, complete with high school memories, first loves and heartbreaks. A youthful melodrama that will make you wish you were still 17. Crisp, moody, yet melancholic at the same time. (8/10)
Athena: Goddess of War (Korean) - This drama! As a sequel prequel to Iris, I was so exited for it. Admittedly, initially I felt that it had more potential than Iris due to its characters and relationships, unfortunately the writers couldn't see that some characters had more potential with others than with some, so they decided to follow their pinned script no matter what even if that meant leaving the characters (the most interesting ones) and story in limbo. (6/10)
Autumn's Concerto (Taiwanese) - Beautifully shot, great soundtrack, and a fast moving plot. A crisp drama, spamming 6 years of two people's adolescent and subsequent adult love. (8/10)
Autumn Tale (Korean) - First of the season series, gorgeously filmed, good acting and I was sobbing and crying by the end. (7/10)
Bad Guy (Korean) - Great idea, good acting, strong start and middle, the ending was the most stupid thing I have ever seen. Worth watching but be ware of the idiotic ending. One more drama where my OTP was not accomplished (6 and counting) (4/10)
Barefooted Youth (Korean) - Very good police, mafia, long lost son of evil mafia boos drama. (8/10)
Beautiful Days (Korean) - Although cheesy at times it’s a good drama. Having both happy moments and terribly sad moments, the acting is very good, the music is good and this drama has some great kisses. (8/10)
Best Love/The Greatest Love (Korean) - The thing that I learned from watching the dramas the Hong sisters have been recently writing, is that I simply have to detach myself from the characters and just enjoy the scenarios episode by episode. Hilarious scenarios, laugh out loud moments, at times charming and at times sweetly romantic, this drama is a good representation of the rom-com genre. With a hero that probably won't be forgotten anytime soon, this is the best Hong sisters drama in recent years. (8/10)
Big (Korean) - Not even Gong Yoo in all his mightiness could save this drama. What seemed to start off as my favourite Hong sisters drama, turned out to be the ultimate flop. (3/10)
Boys Over Flowers (Korean) - I loved this drama. Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes over the top, sometimes you want to kill the main girl and wish the ending was different. My reason for loving it: nothing can surpass the OTP that is the supporting couple. (9/10)
Bu Bu Jing Xin/Startling by Each Step (Chinese) - Poetic, haunting, beautiful and unforgettable, Bu Bu Jing Xin pulls your heart in and doesn't let it go until that last unforgettable scene. Indescribably perfect in storytelling, directing, acting and scoring, this is my all time favourite drama. (10/10)
Cheongdamdong Alice (Korean) - The charm, chemistry and love seemed to have disintegrated completely in the latter half, leaving behind the remains of what could have been a great drama. (6/10)
Cinderella’s Sister (Korean)- Good family drama, great acting from the main actress, one thing that let me down was the OTP couple. I was a main girl/supporting guy team member. Great start but got really....not...that...good by the end. (5/10)
City Hall (Korean) - The last five episodes are the best I've ever seen in a drama. I could also put that in another way: Incoherent screams and thoughts when it comes to the last five episodes of this drama. Despite that fact that it had a slow start, it managed to find the strength in its mature and emotional storytelling, and ultimately lead to what I believe is the best ending to a drama I've ever seen. One of my all time favourites. (10/10)
City Hunter (Korean) - Not without it's flaws but the OTP, twists of the plot, and the tone of the drama made it an unforgettable one. (9/10)
Coffee Prince (Korean) - Although I found it a bit boring at time, it is an extremely enjoyable drama. The physical contact in this drama drove me insane! Now I want all my dramas to have the same amount of physical contact. Recommended for everyone! (9/10)
Dae Mul (Korean) - The story of South Korea's first female president and her friend, Ha Do Ya. Although this drama deals with too much politics for my taste, it's a well written and well acted drama with a lovely love story. A very grown-up story. (7/10)
Damo (Korean) - A drama of epic proportions all the way from story to music, but I could not help having some issues with it. Mostly it felt at times rough around the edges, without a smooth storyline transition from one point to another, devoting too much screen time to insignificant details and giving too little to the life altering discoveries. But that is not say that I don't shake and cry every time I think about it because he.....and then she......and with the.....on the beach.....and in the tent......and then that end!!!!! (8/10)
Dal Ja's Spring (Korean) - I adore this drama. Revolving aroung the (love) life a successful 33 year old woman, the drama doesn't shy away from the problems a woman that age might encounter such as bitch bosses from hell, sex, playboys, married men and oh yes the ever tabooed younger man. Not to mention Lee Min Ki is in it with his larger-than-life star quality. My favourite romantic comedy drama. (9/10)
Detective Conan (Japanese) - Fun little Japanese drama/movie. Based on the manga. (6/10)
Dr. Jin (Korean) - Jelly fetus baby in a jar. That is all you need to know. (4/10)
Dream High (Korean) - Produced by BYJ and JYP this drama has great singing, catching songs, amazing acting from Kim Soo Hyun not to mention amazing shipping OTP. (10/10)
Dream High 2 (Korean) - Oh God why? What was the point of this? (4/10)
East of Eden (Korean) - An ok drama, but the relationships drove me insane. (6/10)
Faith aka The Great Doctor (Korean) - The romance between the two main characters is enough to carry the drama on its own. I mean you have an ancient general who is famous throughout history and a modern day platic surgeon who just wants to marry a rich man who will keep her in blue boxes from the rest of her life. However, I would have loved for this drama to be more epic, and I think the problem was the production team itself who could have made the drama more grandiose. All in all, I was still obsessed with it. (8/10)
Family Honor (Korean) - One of the most perfectly written dramas I've ever seen. The characters and the dialogue are amazing and although it's 54 episodes long I wished there would've been more. Having multiple OTPs, each of their stories are great and told in such a way that you can't help falling in love with them. Each character behaves like an adult with the perfect amount of dysfunctionality. (10/10)
Fated To Love You (Taiwanese) - Extremely fun to watch, nothing complicated, nothing complex and a good story line. (8/10)
Full House (Korean) - Ok, I have to say that it was much more pleasant the second time around. I really came to enjoy it although it took me a second time to really get into it. I still think it's over-rated, the plot slow and repetitive, but I enjoyed it. (6/10)
Gloria (Korean) - Plot wise it could have been better, but I watched it for the characters and their relationships, I got super invested in their lives. (8/10)
Gaksital (Korean) - Grand and epic in execution and arguably storytelling. Ultimately I couldn't bring myself to care for the hero. (7/10)
Goong (Korean) - Great drama and really fun. (9/10)
Green Rose (Korean) - Revenge drama plus Goo Soo. What's not to love? (7/10)
Hana Kimi (Japanese) - I don't get the point of the manga, so I am sure as hell not getting the point of a drama. (5/10)
Hana Yori Dango (Japanese) - One of the best if not THE best adaptations of the drama. (9/10)
Hana Yori Dango 2 (Japanese) - In this version I shipped both main girl/main guy and main girl/supporting guy. (9/10)
Have We Really loved? (Korean) - Love over money type of drama, good at time, weird at time, depends on personal preferences. (6/10)
Heartstrings (Korean) - Everything but the OTP is rather forgetfull. I was promised a youthful melodrama with lots of singing and dancing instead I got something that I didn't know what it was. Although I should give some credit to the music, it was good. (6/10)
Hotelier (Korean) - It is fascinating how a hotel works behind the scenes. Very good drama. (9/10)
How To Meet a Perfect Neighbor (Korean) - Ah, the drama being famours for having the angsty alcoholic support guy get the girl, and he should have ended up with her. Their relationship is so deliciously dysfunctional that you can't help wanting more of it. Writen by the same writer that did Gloria and Family Honor, although not as polished as those two, it's a very solid drama not without its own twists and turns. Seriously, good plot twist at the end. (9/10)
I Summon You Gold (Korean) -
I'm Sorry, I love You (Korean) - Being written by Lee Kyung Hee, one of my favourite writers (Will It Snow for Christmas, A Love to Kill) expect tears and heartbreak. Like A Love to Kill it is beautifully filmed, although not quite as epic, and it has a fantastic OTP. Make sure to bring tissues, the last episode was almost unbearable for me. (7/10)
I Really Really Like You (Korean) - Listen, I adore and love Lee Min Ki to infinity and beyond, but there is a limit to my patience. Yes, seeing him on the screen makes it worth while but honestly, 30+ episodes of watching the main girl drool over the secondary guy when her OTP is right there is more than I can handle. (6/10)
Iris (Korean) - Great story, great acting, great kissing scene, great OTP, great fighting/torture scenes and shirtless LBH. (10/10)
It Started with a Kiss (Taiwanese) - Eh, it was way to over the top for me. (4/10)
It Started with a Kiss 2 (Taiwanese) - Still over the top but slightly better then the first one mostly because of the make out scenes. (5/10)
King of Baking (Korean) - Pulling rating in the 50% range King of Baking got everything right. It had great evil character, relationships that developed, mystery and my couples got together in the end! Also, perfect happy ending! (9/10)
King Of Dramas (Korean) - A drama that I enjoyed completely. The writing could have been a bit more structured, but perhaps that was the fault of the extension (they almost always ruin a drama). Having said that, this drama's forte was definitely its assemble (alongside a beautiful soundtrack) and it definitely one of my favourites. (9/10)

Legend (Korean) - An almost perfect drama. I was on the main guy/”evil” woman OTP team. (10/10)
Lie to Me (Korean) - This drama had so much potential plot wise, unfortunately the writer didn't take it anywhere. Still, the chemistry of the OTP was so great it's worth to watch the entire drama, and let's face it, it has one of the greatest kisses in kdrama history. (5/10)
Love Rain (Korean) - If old fashioned Korean melodramas are not your thing, then stay away from this. Directed by the Four Seasons PD, this drama makes you feel like you are back in 2002 where illness, lost love, and slow plots were a thing. I for one, love an old fashioned melodrama, so this drama was just right for me. Depicting two stories simultaneously, both in the 1970s and in present times, this drama is big on romance. I found myself invested more in the present day romance, but then again so did everyone else. Also, since it's by Four Seasons PD you can bet this drama is also beautifully filmed. (7/10)
Lovers (Korean) - I have literally marathon this 20ep drama in two days. The drama has its flaws and I do think that the beginning was stronger then the end, however none of those matter to me. I love love love this drama beyond believe. It has great characters, a heroine that I loved, a hero that was badass, it has gangsters, fights, cuteness, and did I mention possibly the greatest make outs in kdrama history? I am talking 'knocking over furniture make out scenes.' This is definitely my favourite gangster&love story and one of my favourite kdrama ever! (9/10)
Loving You (Korean) - Typical Korean drama. Nothing new or fantastic. Will reamin forever in my heart of hearts because it was my very first kdrama (7/10)
Loving You A Thousand Times (Korean) - Evil mother really wants a grandson to continue the family name but her daughter in law cannot give her one. One day she meets our heroine, blackmailing her into being a surrogate mother. Heroine has the baby and gives it to evil mother. Heroine meets a nice rich guy they fall in love get married only so she can discover that her brother in law his in fact her baby's daddy. I think the plot had potential but it was never really engaging, they could have tried harder. (6/10)
Miss No Good (Taiwanese) - Oh God kill me! No, wait....kill me main girl actually. (3/10)
Miss Ripley (Korean) - It started out great but it became a bit slow me in the middle. Overall still a good drama. (7/10)
Missing You (Korean) - Objectively speaking there have been worse drama than this, but for me, this is the worse drama I have ever seen. I will forever pretend that Missing You never happened past episode six. (2/10)
My Girl (Korean) - My favourite Hong Sisters drama. It had a sane plot, with sane characters, and with likeable secondary characters. Nothing was insane, nothing was un-believable, with a hero that I loved. I loved the secondary male protagonist as well and part of me wished the heroine would have picked him, but she was awesome enough with main dude. I wish the Hong sisters would go back and write dramas like this instead of what they have taken to write in later years. (9/10)
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (Korean) - It is no secret that I am not a big fan of the Hong sisters. Their dramas seem over the top for me and I have serious issues with their characters. However, throw in two of my most loved actors and I am there! Although I had some problems with the first half of the drama, the angsty last half made up for everything else. Also as I said before, because it's Shin Min Ah and Lee Seung Gi, I will love the drama no matter what. Yes, I am biased to this drama because of the actors. (8/10)
My Name is Kim Sam Soon (Korean) - Despite flaws I couldn't overlook, it is charming, poignant and funny enough that it pulls you in time and time again. Probably my most re-watched drama. (9/10)
New Tales of Gisaeng (Korean) - It has a OTP to die for! (7/10)
Nice Guy (Korean) - I love the writer, she is one of my favourites. She wrote a A Love To Kill after all. Being my favourite writer, I went into this drama with extremely high expectation and perhaps that is why I couldn't enjoy it more. It fell short. Although this genre is right up my ally, I could never connect enough with the characters to actually what happened to them. I guess for me it lacked the soul that was usually found in this writer'd dramas. (7/10)
Okjagyo Brothers (Korean) - I adore family drama. Good written family dramas. There is just something about the 50+ episodes that let me connect to the characters and see them grow into the awesome (sometimes not so awesome) kick-ass character they become. With a lot of heart and charm (and just the right amount of makjang) this drama won me over. (8/10)
Personal Taste (Korean) - It has enough charm, sweetness, tenderness and endearment backed by good performances and chemistry from Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin that will make you enjoy it. However it does leave a great deal of untouched potential, something that kills me. (8/10)
Playful Kiss (Korean) - It was enjoyable enough and it was pretty to look at. (5/10)
Proposal Daisakusen (Japanese) - The drama of my life. Seriously, how many time have I wanted to go back in time and redo my relationships? Too many. One thing that I found about the drama was that I times it was hard to relate to the characters and their decisions, or even understand them. (8/10)
Que Sera Sera (Korean) - One of the most violent, twisted and passionate dramas I've seen, and when I say passionate I mean physically passionate. Oh, yes the lust in this dramas. The greatest aspect of the drama would have to be the characters and their disfunctionality carries on through the end. Oh, the end! In my delusion mind I choose to somehow believe that she stayed with her husband. However, when it did end it left me with a complete feeling of accomplishment seeing the growth of the characters, and thinking possible that they will still move on from what happen to them and seeing this as small events in the amazing lives they will have. A mature, intelligent and challenging drama that that does caught the viewer by surprise. (9/10)
Queen of Ambition (Korean) - Started out with a compelling antagonist heroine who stopped at nothing to ensure a better life for herself. Ultimately became a dry drama backed up by dry characters, with very little shinning moments. (6/10)
Queen of the Game (Korean) - Typical revenge drama where guy falls in love with evil man’s daughter, yet the ending is very fresh for a revenge drama. (7/10)
Queen of Housewives (Korean) - Fun, great and well acted drama, my OTP did not end up together but everyone else did so I am partially happy about it. (8/10)
Queen of Reversals (Korean) - Although not as good as it's predecessor, I got my OTP so that made me very happy. Just like Perfect Neighbor, the supporting guy (played by the very same Park Shin Hoo) gets the girl in the end, which never happend in kdrama, so unless you are Park Shin Hoo don't even bother with it. (7/10)
Rich Man, Poor Woman (Japanese) - A cold hearted tech genius and a bubbly girl make the perfect combo in this sweet and light rom-com. (8/10)
Rooftop Prince (Korean) - Time travelling drama with a murder mystery spin. To be honest, for me it got boring after the first couple of episodes. What kept my interest in it was to see how the murder mystery got solved and what kind of ending it would have. Just watch the first episode and the last episode. (6/10)
Runaway: Plan B (Korean) - Plot? What plot? Who cares about plot when you have Rain shirtless and funny? Ok, so may be the plot wasn't all that great but as I said Rain is in it and he is his usual awesome funny self, not to mention an amazing secondary OTP who are worth watching the drama just for them. And who can forget Daniel Henney? (7/10)
Sad Love Song (Korean) - Love story between two people, fallows them from when they were kids to when they were adults. I was a main girl/supporting guy supporter (another let down). (7/10)
Sandglass (Korean) - Said to be the mother of Korean dramas, complex and hard at time, the ending was completely unnecessary. Kleenex box recommended. (7/10)
Sang Doo, Let's Go To School (Korean) - All my tears and my heart. Still dead after that ending. (8/10)
Scent of a Woman (Korean) - Started out strong with full potential although left in limbo for most of the duration of the drama. Although seeing Kim Sun Ah cry and suffer so much broke me. (7/10)
Secret Garden (Korean) - Lead by Hyun Bin's stellar performance, followed by great chemistry, great dialogue and a standout soundtrack. A drama you can come back to time and time again. (10/10)
Shark (Korean) -
Shinning Inheritance (Korean) - It's a story line that in one form or another has been done before, but its sweetness and charm is what makes this drama work. (8/10)
Shut Up Flower Boy Band (Korean) - Love, love and more love. This drama surprised me incredibly. It has a fast paced plot, with interesting likeable characters, good music, beautifully shot, an epic larger-than-life apparance from Lee Min Ki, and one of the greatest plot twist in dramaland that I have ever seen (try not to read any synoses before watching it). One of my favourites! (10/10)
Snow Queen (Korean) - Heartbreaking from start to finish, a crisp and enjoyable melodrama although not without its flaws. (7/10)
Star In My Heart (Korean) - Guilty pleasure of the 90’s, cheesy, but Rocker Boy is great! (7/10)
Star’s Lover (Korean) - Somewhat of a good story, great chemistry between main couple, didn’t do much else for me. (6/10)
Stairway to Heaven (Korean) - Not a very original plot but still enjoyable enough. Be prepared to break out the Kleenex box. (6/10)
Summer’s Desire (Taiwanese) - Overall a pretty good drama, but at time is kind of twisted and makes you confused. (7/10)
Take Care Of The Young Lady (Korean) - Is it a flawed drama? Yes. Is it one of those dramas that you must watch superficially without any deep thought? Yes. You can't stand the heroine sometimes? Sure, you want to kill her. However, it is entertaining if you are looking for a light drama without much to it, plus it's Yoon Eun Hye so that means hot kisses and even possible bed scenes. Could I help myself if I was torn between the main guy and the secondary guy? No. Was it my fault those characters happened to be played by Yoon Sang Hyun and Jung Il Woo, who I adore to infinity and beyond? I don't think so. Also, SECONDARY OTP FOR THE WIN! (5/10)
That Winter, The Wind Blows (Korean) - Although it was hard to relate to any of the characters on an emotional level, it still had enough heart and charm to pull you in. Beautifully scored and gorgeously filmed. (8/10)
The Devil (Korean) - I have not seen a drama like The Devil since or before it. It is pretty much perfection and I give it my undying love. (10/10)
The King 2 Hearts Korean) - So full of love and heart that King 2 Hearts hits all the right drama spots for me. The romance carries this drama through and stays with you long after the credits are rolling. (10/10)
The Moon That Embraces The Sun Korean) - Historical Korean drama about one of its kings. Nothing new and exited, but still overall a very good drama. I mostly watched it because of Kim So Hyun and Jung Il Woo!!! Although be ware, it is hard to buy that Han Ga In is two years younger than Kim So Hyun when in reality she is six years older, but who cared because Jung Il Woo and Kim So Hyun!!!! I sat it yet again. (6/10)
The Princess' Man (Korean) - I dare you to watch this drama and not fall in love with Park Shin Hoo. This has to be the drama that solidified his status as a leading man, and for good reasons. Labelled as a Romeo and Juliet story this drama is pretty close to being perfect, from the acting to the costumes to the directing. (9/10)
The Queen Returns (Korean) - A comedy but sometimes serious drama, nothing special and kinda boring. (4/10)
The Woman Who Still Wants to Mary (Korean) - I love noona-romance dramas. I think most of my all-time favourites are noona-romances. A feel-good, light drama about what it means to be an unmarried woman in your thirties. It leaves you with a strange satisfaction that no matter the situation there is always hope. (8/10)
The World That They Live In (Korean) - It's very hard to figure out what to say about this drama. There are people who loved and there are people who hated it. Having said that, the drama can be unbearable to watch for some. I really enjoyed it, in grand part due to its uniqueness and in a way maturity. This is simply a drama about directors, screenwriters, actors and (like the title suggests) the world that they live in. (9/10)
Tokyo Dogs (Japanese) - Police/detective drama. Enjoyable and a great ending song. (6/10)
Tree of Heaven (Japanese/Korean) - I cried and I cried and I cried some more. Think Autumn in My Heart meets Stairway to Heaven meets Winter Sonata. (6/10)
You're Beautiful (Korean) - Although flawed it was extremely entertaining and fun to watch. Who wouldn't love the idea of pretending to be a guy to join a boy band and have everyone in there fall in love with you? (8/10)
What Happened in Bali (Korean) - I dare anyone to find me a drama with a more twisted ending! It was really twisted....I LOVED IT! This drama is raw, realistic, and complex. Dealing with themes such as lust, money and power, it's one big psychological run until the very end....THAT END! Also, having Ha Ji Won (my favourite) Jo In Sung and So Ji Sub as protagonists certainly helped. (9/10)
What's Up (Korean) - A darker more mature version of Dream High, this drama is in one word: beautiful. Written by one of my favourite writers this drama is definitely one of my faovurites! (10/10)
Winter Sonata (Korean) - It kinda dragged on, but it was beautifully filmed with beautiful symbolisms and I just loved it. (9/10)

Lobbyist (Korean) - Gansters, mafia, arm dealers, and great main characters? Count me in!
Jumong (Korean) - The highest rated Korean historical drama. I just don't know how I am going to make it through 81 episodes.
