Bummed
So Anime Expo 2010 is a bust. Boyfriend isn't allowed any time off and works Monday thru Friday from 7:30am till 5 pm. And rather than just go down for one day of the convention (Saturday), I didn't want to waste my 4 day passes and went ahead and requested that our memberships from this year be transfered to next years convention, Anime Expo 2011. And then I had to cancel the hotel reservation. So my boyfriend better not mess up Anime Expo 2011 for me. Otherwise I'll be super duper pissed and make him buy me presents to make up for it. =P
This also caused a chain reaction for the wedding I'm in/supposed to attend the weekend of July 17th. I was supposed to drive up with my boyfriend on Thursday, but obviously I had to change plans... So now I'm driving up with another bridesmaid on Friday morning, then spending Friday night in the bride's hotel room. Then Saturday morning I'm going to have my boyfriend drive up and he'll get there whenever he gets there... It's an evening wedding so he just has to make sure he gets there by 5 pm. I'll tell him to get there in the early afternoon though just to be safe. Then I just got a hotel for one night for July 17th for me and my boyfriend. Then we check out and leave on Sunday. (sigh)
So instead of Anime Expo, I plan on buying a lot of fireworks and setting them off for the 4th of July. My brother's coming home this weekend too so we'll have the whole family together to be setting of fireworks... I gotta pick up my bridesmaid dress this Thursday and make sure it fits. I'm trying to figure out what I wanna do Friday and Saturday. Sunday our town has a fireworks show so I want to try to make it there to watch it. Then I also have Monday July 5th off work so I gotta figure out how to spend that day too.
I know I'm harping on it, but I really hate when my "arranged in advance" plans get super messed up.
