now no one touches one again.
Today all I could think about was visiting my friends over at Cd world (aka Red Planet) to pick up some new tunes. I have a mighty nice list started. finally! i'm excited about music again.. wooo! It seems like for a while there I haven't cared too much about music. The last Cd I bought was Lps "Suburban Sprawl and Alcohol" and I love it, but I haven't really been reading up on bands too much.. I need to get my ass out to some shows and find some new bands to love. Oh and the new Tegan and Sara is pretty darn good . But you know what scares me most? I really wannt buy the new Donnas record. I think mainly because I am a HUGE Butch Walker fan. he's taken a stab at being a producer. (well he does his own records, I'm sure he did the last two Marvies albums) apparently he did (gag) Avril's new album according to Nylon, she personally called him and asked him to do it. SICK! I hate that bitch, but I love my Butch and i'm semi-seduced by the new Donna's single.. How awful is this? oh well I got no shame.. I think i'll get it and i'll store it next to my Ashlee Simpson and Ryan Cabrera Cds.
So last night we went to Til Tuesday at the Hoots.. weekly for me-- once again.. I've been having a blast the last few times i've gone.. I'll drink a bit too much, stay a little later then I plan. That and one of the djs plays Ryan Adams each week. I try to make it my duty to remind him that he nearly had sex in my bed next to my Ryan Adams posters-- not with me-- but during that freakish orgy. anyhoo, it makes tuesdays fun once again. Jonna agreed to drive so Nicole and I got plastered. We all danced, I met a new hot boyfriend.. and by hot I mean he was pushing 40, super drunk, and he took a liking to me early on.. luckily Smokestack (the band of the night) saved me by starting their set just as he was getting too close for comfort.
mollyringwald lost her jacket, well someone mistook it for their own, leaving her their old jacket with a half smoked cigarette in the right pocket.. the only clue we had to track them down.. Me being drunk and trying to be helpful started questioning everyone in a black velvet (in that little boys smile) blazers. this wasn't an easy task, seeing as how everyone was wearing a black velvet blazer.. so after a few mistakes.. we tracked it down.. they are both fine. Jonna and the jacket that is. I thought it was a lost cause for a second there.
So we tried to head out early.. I had a handful of band merch (because everything was free!! t-shirts, cds, pins and the band was good- awesomness free stuff and more money for drinks) So nicole was walking like a drunk hobo and ran right into a car, I tried to grab her so she woudln't hurt herself, and by doing so I slipped and fell into a a puddle pulling Nicole down with me.. losing one of my free t-shirts and feeling like a total ass. Did I metion it was raining too? ruining my vintage green silky dress which I had only worn once before.. what a shame.
when I woke up around 5 or so to Nicole laughing asking if we really fell outside the club, I noticed a few new aches and pains in my left leg and a nice crusted blood scab... that's right i'm a fancy lady with legs more fucked up than Courtney Loves.
I think i've finally found something to be for Halloween, which I will refrain from saying "whooo, whooo" It might be. Looking forward to Rayes party since it's the only party I plan on going to. well maybe something on halloween night, but ya never know.

And I also can't wait to see "Birth" because Lauren Bacall is in it, looking smashing at her age. I had only heard the previews a few times and knew I wanted to see it, then I finally saw the previews and now I KNOW I have to see it. That and "Saw". I just need to find someone to go see them with me, since someone thinks they're "too scary". Wuss.
