First off-- Merry Christmas everyone!
I know it's tomorrow but whatever, my family and I celebrate it today (or night, rather)
I'm about to go drop off my booth rent check at work and pick up a few more things, wish me luck through the herds of last minute shoppers.
I spent about 5 hours in my car yesterday which only made me crabby. I listened to three things on repeat. I get like that sometimes. Once I drove all the way to Jonnas house in north hollywood listening to "Twist" by Ultra Baby Fat. The enitre hour and 20 some odd minute drive. I swear, one day I'll just let them take me away, fore I am fucking crazy. So yesterday it was the babydoll ep and Lookout Tucson. Now, vain, I am not. I listen to my own music to think of what to change, I mean we have rough shitty recordings, a million things could be changed. But I think of backing vocals, or guitar fills, or just how much we fucking rock. haha.. a joke for the readers.
If anyone is interested, I hope you are. We are having fund raising party/show.
When/Where? saturday January 15th at 212 beuena vista, burbank. (aka Lauren Doran's house)
Why?: well, Lindze and some other folk are starting a production company. They are awesome and want to make a video for us, which is also for them. Since they are fucking independent as your mom, they have no budget to work with. so the Idea for a fund raiser ala highschool bake sale came about.
How much?: $5 cover, although all donations are welcome. Plus, this five bucks gets you free drinks. if you want stronger drinks or the more expensive drinks you can spend more at the door and get those for free. you'll get a wrist band as proof or something.
What?: it's a party-- but since the money is gonna be fore the video or us Lookout Tucson we are gonna play. We'll play around 8pm because since it isn't sound proof we don't wanna piss anyone off. we'll start the party at 7pm so you can mingle, get some drinks.. get some food. then around 8 ish we'll play some music for you.. then afterwards we'll all party.
so make no other plans, request the night off. do what you must to get your arse down there. And Juan try to not book any shows that night, seeing as how you always fucking play the same night as us.
