DISCLAIMER:
So you know, I really don't like when people name drop.
"Oh I know so-and-so" aka I'm cooler than you.
But for me, meeting someone famous, or whatever is so new. So if I ever do name drop, it's cause I'm excited, thrilled, and surprised. (And it won't be often, I'm sure)
So last night I went to a Black Flys party. (Yes, the sunglass brand)
I rode in a limo, (big one) and hung out with my friend, and a former NBA player. Or maybe he still does play...I don't know, I don't actully pay attention. Cause he's just a cool guy that happens to be fucking tall. TALL.
So we go, and we get to go upstairs (vip) (sweet!) but it was soooo crowded. But the fucking weirdest thing of all, was taking two steps, stopping cause someone recognized him, and wanted a picture, etc. Take 2 steps, stop so he can say hi. Tkae one step, sotp. Step, stop. I'm just like WTF?? I've never seen/heard of this dude before I met him a couple weeks ago. But all these people know who he is and it's sooooo weird to me.
I'm just glad my friend was there, cause at least there was 1 face I recognized!
I felt like I was in a fucking movie. It was so crazy and fun and cool at the same time. I didn't get ridiclously fucked up, but I was intoxicated, and the evening as a whole was such a weird/fun experience. It wasen't as crazy as I was expecting, but it wasen't what I expected at the same time.....maybe that makes no sense.
So the point is, that I have been going through such a weird (but good) experience being out here. I kinda look at it like as a learning experience, cause sometimes that's all you get out of it.
So, I had a fantastic evening, and now I'm going to go to Huntington Beach pier, cause the waves are still kinda big today, and it's my day off.
Awesome!!! Cause I've been stressed with work the past 2 days.
