(no subject)
Happy belated Fourth, everybody! we're in Paris...they have no fireworks. boo.
I went to the Louvre yesterday, the Eiffel tower, the Arc de Triomph, the carnival in the Tulieries, and rode the metro more times than i care to remember.
We had fondue the other night, when we first got here, cause it was way too effin' expensive in Switzerland. We had Italian food last night. So far I have no idea what French food actually tastes like. *shrug*
oh wait, no, we got escargot with fondue (not in the fondue, but before). :) yummy.
I need to try these "strawberry tarts" that are so popular in this country... and creme brulee... and chocolate souffle. goddamnit now i'm hungry. thanks sarah, miss "tell me about the food!!"
it also doesnt help that i'm in the dining room, where people are scarfing down their 7 Euro breakfasts.
Today we go to the D'Orsay and Montmartre. Hopefully we meet up with Alli and her crew, we shall see!
