I’m not one for baseball. Actually, organized sports bore me. Except for ballroom dance and ice skating. But I rather liked this. Loved the parallels between training on the show and playing the game in this. I like how you added in Charlie. *smiles* I LOVE CHARLIE. I get all whimpery whenever I watch her death or see a clip of it in a youtube movie.

Not for the first time, Peter thinks about getting a cat. Yes! Cats are good! Cats are lovely! Cats could take over the world if the wanted to!
Not for the first time, really, Peter starts thinking of Raines as handsome, catches himself thinking about Raines' blue eyes in a less than academic way, but he's not too drunk he can't realize that thinking thoughts like that only lead to trouble. But good trouble, Peter! CE is seeeeeeeexy!
Claude either doesn't notice the other guys in the dugout or doesn't care, looking down at his copy of Ulysses with absolute concentration. *sporfle* Oh CLAUDE …
"Raines is... an old friend. Who owes me a favor." Bennet pats Peter on the shoulder and Peter feels himself break out into a cold sweat. "Keep that in mind." Bennet is SCARY sometimes … *shivershiver* But he should know that Claude is going to be with PETER now, because Bennet/Claude is only ok in the PAST!
