Yes...haven't updated in a while but whatever. I would give the excuse that I've been too busy, but let's not kid ourselves, I'm not really doing the work I should be doing. I had a big list of things I was supposed to accomplish this weekend, but it looks as though that's just not going to happen. Oh well, the weekend's not over yet so I still have time to get things done.
Saw the Varsity Show last night, which was extremely entertaining. I had absolutely no idea the extent of the talent some of the performers have. They were all hilarious, the jokes were very Columbia, and I was continually amazed by the fact that the students in it wrote the entire thing (including the music), built everything, and still had the wittiness to improvise during the show. So good. So makes me proud to go to Columbia.
So yes this weekend is going to be filled with the Frontiers problem set (the last one, thank god!) and formulating/writing my last modern comparative fiction essay. I'm kinda feeling screwed with this essay...I just have no idea what I want to write about. My last one was about The Unbearable Lightness of Being, which I absolutely adored, but there aren't really any books like that this semester that I liked as much. Meh, I'll stick it out and find something interesting to write about. Monday is our last day of classes. I'm finding it a little hard to believe freshman year is almost over, but I'm definitely relieved summer's almost here. Not to mention, Tom and I stopped by our respective McBain 2 rooms today, and mine is huge (we didn't get to see Tom's :( ). But my room is huge, and even though the carpet's a little nasty (hopefully mum will take care of that), it's gonna be awesome and I can't wait. And now I'm off to Morton Williams to buy me some Red Bulls.
