blaaaaaaah
Verdict on this weekend; productive but not as productive as I'd have liked it to be. Went to ADP's Hot Jazz, Cold Champagne party, which was lots of fun considering I didn't really want to go. So I got dolled up, then drank champagne to my little heart's content, and then *gasp* ate some pizza at Pinnacle. So yeah, that's that.
In other news, my roommate situation sucks more and more every day. It's not that she sucks, it's that her boyfriend sucks. And last night while Hot Jazz was going on, she died her hair with a friend and then they gave him a haircut. Sounds cute, right? Absolutely not. They left the bathroom a mess, with hair dye on the sink and shaved boy-hair all over the floor and other things (like my toothbrush!). And tonight I come back wanting to relax and read but they were taking a nap and the lights were off. Only they weren't actually taking a nap, they were giggling and fooling around. So I retreat to the hallway (definitely a mistake), and come back to find I'm locked out. They just suck! He's always here and it pisses me off - someone please tell me I'm not being ridiculous. (P.S. to all you going to college: get a single! roommates seem great at first but then they suck!)
Definitely counting down the days until summer. I cannot wait to be back in San Antonio with all it's warmness and sun. I went running in Riverside today, and while it was a beautiful day (and perfect for running), it just wasn't the same. And all the couples sunbathing in the park made me miss my love lots. And now for a night of Red Bull, Jamaica Kincaid, and Virginia Woolf. Oooh, if anyone has any good book recommendations, please let me know - in anticipation of summer and free time I'm starting the reading list early.
