work, business, teeth
I had my meeting with the cafe owner yesterday. It went awesome. I was so nervous at first but it went really smoothly. I fell in love with the place. The atmosphere is awesome. It seats about 20 people inside and there is a patio that seats another 40 people in the summer. The food is sooooooo good too. I am more determined then ever now that I have actually seen the place. The next step is to review the financial records that she provided me with and also have a professional look over them. I am also going to go and spend a day with her at the cafe observing and helping out. The current owner has an awesome plan to train the me on the daily runnings of the business. I would start working there sometime in April part time and be 2nd in command while I learn the ropes. Then the sale would be finalized in July. It looks very promising at this point!
In other news, I have to go back to work on Monday. My 6 months home with my baby has just flown by. It seems like I just gave birth a week ago. I am very happy though that Dylan will be at home with Dervy. They are so good together. Dylan can make Dervy laugh like no one else. I am kinda dreading going back since I feel so excited about the cafe possibility but the bills still need to get paid.
Derfael's first tooth has just broke through sometime in the middle of the night last night. Oh the joys of teething. No more toothless grin :( My baby is growing so fast.
