TOP SECRET
I have to start working again in 3 months. I was thinking about what exactly I would like to do. I could return to my job or look for something else... or I could do something radical. I gave it quite a bit of thought and decided that although the pay is good at my job, it is not what I love to do. I also hate job searching; I hate the whole process of writing my resume 10 million times to suit each job opportunity and not really finding something that I love. So I decided to go with the radical option.
I am going to open my own business. Those of you who don't know my background, I graduated from college with a diploma in marketing and a certificate in entrepreneurship. So it's not like I am going into this blind. I have written a couple of business plans before. I love planning the business, looking into all of my options and thinking about the potential. I love that I will be in control of the direction on my business and that I will be earning my own money. I love the freedom I will have (as well as being tied to my business)
So the work has begun. All of my spare time when the baby is sleeping is being devoted to my top secret business idea. I have a couple of good leads on funding programs (helps that I am a young female entrepreneur)
So if you don't see much of me it is because I am really into the start up of my business.
As things progress, I will reveal my business ideas. But as it stands now I just can't say.
