I got lost...and ended up in another province.
oh my what a day...
My son had a hearing appointment today at the local children's hospital and my boyfriend's grandfather offered to bring my son and I to the appointment.
I printed out the directions and off we went. We left in plenty of time. All started out well. Somehow we ended up missing the exit we needed to take and got all turned around when we tried to get back to where we needed to be. We ended up in Quebec. LOL. Well needless to say we got to the appointment an hour late (I called them to let them know we were running late because we were lost.) We decided that we should never attempt a road trip together ever because we might end up on the moon LOL. We had fun though so that is what counts. I can just imagine at the Christmas get together this story being shared... We will never live this one down :) !
My son is living up to his name which means "Stubborn Prince". He would not fall asleep at his hearing appointment (babies need to be sleeping to check hearing) even though his eyes were very heavy and he kept yawning. He would NOT fall asleep. Well eventually he did fall asleep and the doctor was able to preform the test.
All was well at the hearing appointment and my son has perfect hearing. At first he had failed the 2 screening hearing tests which is why we had to have a doctor check just to make sure he could hear.
