I had alot of people calling me towards the end of my shift last night complementing me. I was playing alot of the Cure at the time. It was a nice change from weirdos calling me. I usually get 4 or 5 people calling at the beginning of the shift that have no clue what is being played. One guy called and said he was ready to do an interview. I figured out he should have been calling Friday or Saturday night instead of Thursday. Then I had some other guy calling about me announcing some band that was currently playing. Uh, no. Then I have the usual assortment of people calling up to request something totally opposite to what Im playing. Oh and the shout-outs as well.
I sent off another resume today. Its weird having job opportunities in the field you want to work in.
