W-e-e-k-e-n-d...it's weekend
Well, this week was kinda gross. i had to sleepover with 14 kids at school, and this weeks group was no good. lots of violent little boys. Luckily, most of them will be gone this next week when we have 21 kids registered.
This weekend has been good. My cousin Katherine is visiting from Florida, and she's 13 now and putting on makeup and wearing bras, which is weird since I haven't seen her since she was in 4th grade. Yesterday, we went to see my sister's horses, went to the outlets (got 1.5 lbs of fudge) got Subway, and then hit the local beach. Carl and I are getting along very well, which is truly amazing. I also got my first flat tire. That was uneventful. No drama at all.
Today, I slept in until 9:30, which is truly amazing, since sleeping in never happens in my house, plus, 7:30am is currently what i consider sleeping in. I hate getting up at 5:30 to go to Seattle. My crazy German relatives are coming over today and my cousin is going to see some friends for a week before she takes my place on our family vacation.
I started a new knitting project last night. i'm making the earwarmer from the stitch n' bitch nation book. My first project that isn't a scarf or really easy hat. I'm already getting uber-frusterated.
My family leaves on the 18th and they'll be gone for a week, so if anybody wants to do something, let me know.
