Canada!

Well guys today is my last day here and i have to say im not too sorry. Hah...i think it was a mistake comming on my own. I don't have a car and even if the grandparents had lent me theirs i don't know the streets on my own. But sometimes it's really hard to live here with just the two of them >.< they can't hear most of the time and after they have happy hour, watch out, one drink and they're snappin at each other like crazy it's a war everyday. You might think..why do old people have to be so crabby anyhow. And any chance he gets, my grandpa will mention 'what a great country this is'. Such as: A good coupon for a deal in the magazine, nice weather, free this, that or the other thing, clean water that you won't die from if you drink from the tap...medicare this, social security that..etc. It's just the worst sign that he's jelous of the USA and he's got a chip on his shoulder. Also they like to talk alot about stuff i couldn't really care less about..like when we're going somewhere they'll point to where they're having construction and what they're planning to build...
-_-

So ok. I know there are some nice places here and lots of teenagers and such. Lots different than at home as i've mentioned many times before. And it seems there are always bands playing, like theres the whole underground community of fla. but it's not underground. But dammit i can't go anywhere anyways.

Basicly what i've been doing up here is (if im at home) watch my Family Guy DVD on my laptop, talk on my Ogo to everyone, watch French TV (Quebecois sucks big doody) come on the puter everyonce in a while for internet (my gpa is usually on), try to take pictures of the cute, but literally scardy cat, or talk to Dwayne on the phone..which is gonna cost alot cause roaming charges suck. this cat is so so cute shes all brown and grey coloured with a round little head and a long tongue with actually sticks out all of the time. and she has the biggest golden eyes. i have many pictures of here running away. -_-

we went to mini put on one of the days but it was soo hot. later in the evening it cooled down and my gpa and i went for a bikeride to my gma's friend's house. she was all shocked to see me n stuff. They take me out alot which is nice. Usually to dinner though. My aunt took me out for a day which was actually neat..breakfast first, then we got our nails done (yes they're long again and it's hard as heck to type..they're green =D) shopping, and to a movie. That day we also went out for dinner too..
I've bought alot of clothes here =) good because i prefer the style here much more than to FLA hahaha. The clothes are real nice. It was a lot easier shopping with my aunt because my grandma walks so quickly through the malls and when i look at clothes she seems so impatient blah blah. Oh well i will make it here on my own someday. Uhm uhm..i also helped her volunteer at a church for old ladies..that was okay. I don't mind helping but they were all like..70/80?! I was the only one under 60 I'd say..they mostly all have sicknesses like deaf or blind and such..some were nice and some were rather crabby. i had helped several times, years ago in the past. the volunteers all remembered me but my memory's not so great..i love it when they all say that i've changed so much hah. one of them says that she expected a 12 year old girl with long blonde hair lol. they found it all incredible that i was already driving on my own with my own car n such.
My aunt had planned some..Kid's Fun Festival for 1400 underprivalged kids from 5 different schools thing, they'd have cake and bbq and games and stuff..for 6 months prior..just my luck they needed me to volunteer while i was here. Bleh. So whatever, something to do and keep me busy i figured. The weather so far had been hot and sunny so we figured it was a go, and we went the night before (monday) to set up a bit. 5 AM Tuesday and it's storming out! That was a bit of a bummer for everyone. Just what i need..everyone to be mad and upset for another reason. At least the weather cooled down a bit but it's been raining ever since tuesday! its not like fla where it rains for 5 minutes. Well we tried shopping again, i got some things to bring home for people. I also got some goodums that ya can't get in the states (like chocolates n stuff)
Oh you know what i can't get over..yes i know it's a french province and everything is required to be in french before english..and in stores the employees great with bonjour before hello, and might ask ca va before do you need help. OK BUT WHEN I LOOK AT YOU BLANKLY AND ASK WHAT?! DONT SAY IT AGAIN IN FRENCH PLZ
Well tuesday i was going to bring my gma and my aunt to a movie but my aunt seemed depressed..it was cheapy tuesday AND raining so like..the whole country was at the theatre -_- she didn't feel like waiting in line. So we'll try again today and maybe buy the tickets ahead of time. I think we're gonna try shopping again (goodness i am going broke =0 )and to a restaurant called Jack Asters which is the Canadian equivilent to TGIF.
Oh yesterday was cool i got in touch with my mom's cousin which she has alot of ..this on is as bit older and has a 3 year old but she has younger siblings my age..they all live over where my other gpa is. So my gpa came over to see me and it was nice seeing him but he is a polish, strict catholic and a bit hard to understand sometimes. i also don't know him that well so it's a bit odd having him in my company. anyways, im glad i got in touch with my family cause it'd be a shame to be up here and not to see them..i hadn't in a few years. my mom was being a bit stuborn in helping me set up to meat them. buuuut i had emailed her and she called the house here and was thrilled to hear from me. she asked if my gpa could drive me back and stay at his house so she could come pick me up to see everyone =) the later part of it sounded awesome so i went along with it even though staying with that gpa through an hour car ride and for a few hours at his house didnt seem to inviting..it was worth it in the end anyways. i helped him make a spinach pie and i watched more french tv AND polish tv ^_^ oh it was also cool seeing the house again and all his photos of my family years ago and all that..they have a feew odd foods there and he really doesnt believe in wasting any so oh great. i don't mind trying anything once but i really hate to finish the entire helping but i made it through it all *sigh*
my mums cousin took me to her house finally when she got over and it was all up hill from there. her little Valerie is absolutely adorable =) lots of pictures. and she's also about twice my age, iza, but it was definately cool to talk to her and catch up hehe. we got over then to the rest of the family (they had been out at a hockey thing i think) and it was reallly neat! i hadn't seen them all in about two years. in all its iza her sister pat, tom who's about 17/18 and ricky who'll be 15 this summer..big family. they all speak polish french and english so ooh boy. they seem to all lloook the same only alot older and im sure i must have shocked them haha..but it was really fun. tom is like this star goalie and he's been recruited to princeton! so oh goodness lucky for him. i think hes leaving in the fall so im glad i got to see him. they all told me they're glad i finally got in touch and too bad i was at short notice cause they're going to NY Friday. blah blah blah..but im comming up again in the winter with my family so we can spend more time so this is good. and tom should be up there too on vacation! then i finally got to go and just talk with the kids and we talked music n tv n some sports and summer and jobs. According to Ricky Alexisonfire is really popular up there. They're canadian and all, but so is Silverstein and no one's ever heard of them. So i can't find the pattern in this..of course everyone knows simpleplan and sum 41, and goodcharlotte and blink182 regardless of them being canadian or not, and they're all poppy n crap so i can see why the mainstream likes them..but alexisonfire isn't usually a ~*PuNkRaWkEr*~ choice at first.
good thing i get to see them all later in the year because it was a short visit. yes yes everyone says i must come up for longer from now on..as if!! they all called my brother cheap for not wanting to pay his way but that's a bad call because he wants a car really badly and the tickets werent even that cheap..355 for a round trip ey. and when everyhour at a job like mcdonalds can make a difference, 355 isn't something you want to blow away to come get stuck up with grandparents for 10 days.

So. lots and lots of pictures i shall post once i get back home and settled. and hooly crap i can't believe i wrote so much with my nails it lasted about an hour now. but theres my whole vacation here (yes it's still a vacation cause im able to get away from WORK..which ill be doing lots of once home)
by the way 15 degree weather in june kicks yer butt!!!
(0r about 55 F)

and holy crap now theyre hastling me about going somewhere grrr
