I'm bringing LJ back
Okay, so after lookin back at the nostalgic posts at school, I have decided to bring back, the LJ. Now if some of you remember, I used to put pictures correlating with every post I made.
On to my first post.
So, it's been a while since I posted on here so I have a lot to say. First of all, I decided to go to pfeiffer university and I currently consider myself an undecided education major.
Now, you might ask, "How can you be an undecided education major???" Well this is how; I know I want to teach, I know I want to teach elementary school, and I know I want to make music a part of my teaching. Now, this is the stickiness of the situation. I am not quite sure whether or not I want to teach Elementary Music, or Elementary Education.
But anyway, let me now discuss first semester.
First semester was great, fun, awesome, and drama filled. Now I though high school had drama, but boy was I wrong. Amidst the whooping, hollering, and fun time, there was drama. First it was over penis drawings, then it was over dolphins and sirens, then it was over people. Thankfully that phase has passed-hopefully. Other than that, I really love the dorm I am in and the people in it.
Current Fads Include: Smoothies, Movie nights in room 108, lists of whom I'm marrying,
Shout outs of the week include: Emily and Maddy for inspiring the LJ revival, and Brian for akward man hug. haha
Current Events:
From now on I am going to try to include current events for posterity and nostalgia. When I'm thirty it would be neat to remember LJ, look, and find ridiculous.
Its 2008 and you know what that means, Elections
As of this week, two presidential candidates have dropped out of the race.
John Edwards (D)
Edwards, the 2nd to drop out of the Democratic race, is seen to be Barack Obama's possible VP, or Secretary of Defense
Rudy Giuliani (R)
Giuliani, is seen to have taken a misstep by not campaigning as stongly in the beginning of the primaries.
Current events is also about Entertainment
This week, Heath Ledger passed away. Some speculate that it was drug overdose, others suspect that it was suicide. Interestingly connected to the death: Ashley Olsen. She received the call before police.
