Five after five after five

How the world goes around in one circle year after year...day after day...month after month...and still we find our self in one never ending bind. Two hearts sealed together with the best intentions. How few know what really lies beneath what we show to be just a simple gesture of saying hello. What really lies beneath the friendship that we have, the giving and taking, the true emotions...who really knows? The lies that we have told just to keep what is ours only ours. How many people have we fooled, I can only imagine. “So what is that that you keep in such a small box, hidden by your jacket, is it one that I wear? Does it really mean what I think, will this night end how I hope, will I go away with one less thing to worry about, the one true vow to commit forever what is mine now becomes yours. Is it really true? Are you now mine forever?” These are the things I can only hope I will get to ask that spring day in only five months. Oh how little patience I have for those five months will seem like an eternity when we can really show ourselves off to the world. Shown by just one symbol on the hand of the one you truly love. Oh those five months please come soon
