To make you feel a bit younger. I spent last evening in early 1800's London helping out Sweeney. Was kinda nice seeing the city again how it used to be. Made me feel like I was in my nineties again ( Read more... )

Yeah. A friend I've made on here....well, someone he was close to was kidnapped..

I remember the layout of the city back then, and he needed someone to divert the attention of the police.

What? Oh. Oh, Sweeney, right. I think I've seen him around.

At least it was...safe? It was safe, right?

Yes, him. He's...well, he reminds me of me a little and I... yeah, wanted to help.

Of course. A few human policemen aren't going to cause me any trouble, Cordy. I know the backalleys of back-then London like the back of my hand.

He reminds you of you? As in, big long history of mass-murder, angst, split personality disorder, and the dorkiest personality to populate the planet until Steve Urkel?

I never know with you. I mean, Gunn's few human buddies locked you in a freezer once. Can't forget that.

All but the split personality bit...well, maybe a little, there, too, plus this jerk stole his child and raised her as his own. ....I AM NOT A DORK!!

Yes, but they were ruthless street kids, these were 19th century policemen. Not that hard to outwit.

Ah... I can see the similarities. YES YOU ARE! ♥

Not instilling much faith in humanity of the past here, Angel. I'm never going to be able to take historical movies seriously with your constant critiquing.

We relate. AM NOT!!

I thought you'd resigned yourself to THAT a long time ago, or do you not remember the Titanic incident?

Are too!

Oh, yeah, thanks so much, Angel! Because of you, I can never watch that movie again. I used to love it. I mean, Leo DiCaprio is so cute.

Everything is historically inaccurate! It's Hollywood. Deal.

Oh, please. It's the 21st century. I haven't read since I was forced to in high school. Not all of us like the woefully depressing war tales of Moby Dick, y'know.

...........I remember when that book came out.

I'd feel sorry for you, but I didn't get to GO to school, so I don't.

I bet you do. That was bad when men still wore...tights. I don't know.

Don't feel sorry for me, I enjoyed the intense pleasure of reading demonology texts on an almost-daily basis.
