I was followed by a ghost car
So I was leaving Clem-Head's house, in South Santa Rosa, on my way home in Healdsburg at 2:00am.
I was somewhere in mid Santa Rosa in the left lane when I was coming upon a small SVU or four-runner.
On the left was one of those walls they put up when they are doing construction. I hate being between those walls and another vehicle, so I sped up to pass the other car...The other car sped up aswell, keeping me between it and the wall.
So I slowed so i could drop behind it. It also slowed. I again sped up and so did the other car.
I was like what the fuck Asshole, I'm not trying to race. I slowed down an so did the other car. I sped up and all the time seeing this other car's head lights in my peripherals.
I get more and more pissed off as the more i speed up the more the other car speeds up. It wasn't until i hit about 90 that the other car starts to drop behind me.
This is when I looked in my rearview mirror and did not see the car. I looked in my blind spot and did not see the car. I looked in the right and the left lane. No sign of it what so ever. There had not been enough time for it to take an exit (there wasn't even one close) nor for it to fall far enough beck for me not to see it. It had completely vanished. It freaked the fuck out of me...was it even there in the first place?
