I couldn't help but laugh today after I drove by a church that displayed the following message: "In debt - Jesus saves"
What exactly does Jesus save? Has he come back to settle our credit card debts? Perhaps our student loans? Or does Jesus save you money on car insurance? Should I be looking to the Geico Gecko or the Aflac Duck as possible reincarnations of ancient deities? If so - he's much cuter this time around.
Well church, I have a message for you. Yes, I'm in debt, but I think in my case I'll go with the following:
"In debt - Cthulhu destroys"
I'm just hoping he aims for my credit card companies and their databases. Go elder god, go!
