[Surprisingly high, apparently. Lockon made his way quickly from the TARDIS to the church swathed in a thick, wide-hooded, waterproof coat borrowed from the Doctor's extensive wardrobe and thanking god for his leather gloves. Acid rain. That boded fantastically for this meeting.
Not eager to push his luck in the rain, coat or not, when he reached the doors he didn't wait and knock but pushed right on in and shut the door behind him. Dripping slightly on the floor, he lowered his hood and looked around the church. He saw the reading figure and started forward, slowly and somewhat cautiously.]
[He froze, half-way through turning a page, when he heard that voice. He'd been to see Lockon while he was unconscious once or twice, and he knew that he was awake, but actually meeting him face to face, now, after everything that had happened since - and he hadn't expected him to just show up like that --
He looked up from his book, eyes still a little wide.]
[That reaction didn't surprise Lockon anymore (which was an odd feeling in itself - when had it become normal to expect his friends to be shocked to see him?) and he offered a weak half-smile and a small wave. Supposedly, Allelujah already knew he was alive, which might make this a little smoother than his meeting with Setsuna. Hopefully.]
I thought I'd better come check up on you, since I'm up and about again.
[He nodded a little numbly, still half-way between one page and the next, and let his mouth do the thinking for him while his brain was still trying to process this.]
I didn't realise you were well enough to be walking around again. [About a month ago I wouldn't have ever expected that you'd be well enough to be walking around again.]
