Well i didnt get the coaching job at the high school. They said I was the number one candidate but since i coached 7 or more of the players out of the HS season that I couldnt coach them in HS season. Which i think is bullshit since i was never a MPHS employee when I was coaching the kids this spring. The job went to a MPHS grad, so i think local politics had a little more to do with it than anything. it sucks, this really discourages me from even wanting to be involved w/ the program now after they screw me like this. I volunteered all of my time last fall and worked a ton with these kids over the spring, in hopes it would be leading to the head coach job at the HS, and this is what I get. fuck. its not the end of the world but it makes for a shitty few days, and now im stuck working at soldans all semester long again.
