looooooong weekend
so i went home this weekend as i mentioned on friday. crissy, dave, and vince came to get me and boy am i thankful for that. i missed them all and it meant a lot that they would take a couple of hours to come and get me. and that sure is a long drive too. when i got home i ate dinner with the folks...chinese food! i missed good food. i can't remember the last time that i had that. but that was just the start of a very long night. around 11 i decided to go over to scott's since i hadn't talk to him in a long time and that was cool. besides, there was no way that i was going to fall asleep for only an hour and then have to get up to go over chissy's. so at 12 i picked up kat and drove over to crissy's mom house at which we chilled for 3 and a half hours til meredith got home. let me tell you, that was the longest 3 and a half hours ever. we were all exhausted and just wanted to go to sleep. the thrill of seeing meredith was too great though. so at 3:30, katelyn, chrissy, meredith, and i found ourselves eating breakfast at harvest. good food, good conversation, great friends. anyway, finally fell asleep at 5 and then my asshole brother woke me up at 10 to some stupid cartoon show. oh well, that's my brother for ya.
that afternoon was the band competition at the high school. i was supposed to be an escort but that turned into being a runner for the judges, which turned into wandering around answering questions for people. it was worth it though cause the marching band is doing awesome. i was so proud of the line. ray has really done wonders. after that i went over to scott's and chilled there until we both just passed out and he started snoring so then i went over to meredith's to chill with the diner crew plus kristen and stacy(meredith's friend from school). but then finally we all left and went home to sleep.
i had to go to church yesterday but all wasn't too bad. i got to drive around for a scavenger hunt so it's not like i was stuck doing absolutely nothing. i got to see people i hadn't seen in a while there too, like kristine, george, and cookie. that was cool. but after church i just chilled at home for the rest of the day. made "beef on a leaf" for dinner which was real yummy, and then came back to school. so, in summary of this weekend...i got NO SLEEP! well, off to class. love yas!
