JULY 4th - JULY 9th
MONDAY
Well it was the 4th so I slept in till 3 :) Then I woke up and came and watched my dad cook yummy brisket or however you spell it. Then I ate some food...naturally. Then I went with my brother and sister to his friends apartment. We watched the fireworks from his balcony. Had a small "party" I guess you could call it. After the fireworks I watched some tv on his 42 inch plasma tv. It was awesome. Then we went ahead and shot off some fireworks. Then after we were out of fireworks we left and drove around for about an hour. Then we came home and started putting fireworks under stuff and watching it blow up. Yeah....it was funny....It wasn't exaclty the best 4th but it was alright.
TUESDAY
I went to work from 2-6. Came home watched some tv.
WEDNESDAY
I went to work from 2-6. Came home and watched tv....pretty much the same thing as Tuesday.
THURSDAY
I was going to go to work, but I got a message saying that they needed volunteers on mainstreet for the mainstreet stroll or whatever it is. So I called Christina and we decided to go ahead and go cause we need volunteer hours. So we show up, and we walk up to these people who we think are the people organizing it and they say no we are just setting up a stand. So we stand there for a little while to see if anyone shows up. No one does so this guy tells us to go ask the lady at the Beyond the Red Door store cause she is sponsoring it. So we go over there. I go inside and she says that shes just sponsoring it and the lady incharge works at the Silk Cocoon or something like that. So I call her and she tells me to go back to where I was to start with because the information people should be there soon. So we go back over to where we were before and the lady shows up and tells us to sit at the information desk and hand out flyers. So we are sitting there...no one is really coming...then the girl from the police department shows up...I could not believe it. I just looked at Christina and she was laughing. So we keep sitting there...people finally start to come, so I am trying to listen to these guys who are playing their guitars and help these people even though I have no idea what I am talking about because I have never been to this thing before. So the first part sucked...but then after we got the hang of it it was that bad....plus I got to listen to some pretty good music. Then as we were sitting there it started to rain. Go figure we haven't had rain for a month or so and the one day we decide to volunteer outside...it rains. So we left. I got home and realized we were having problems with the electricity again. Because on Sunday something blew out our transformer so we didn't have electricity for an hour or so...so I guess it was still a little messed up.
FRIDAY
I didn't go to work because it was a busy day and I didn't want to get in anyones way...plus I am lazy. So I went to the pool instead.
SATURDAY
I went to Christina's house and played pool and darts in her new game room. It was pretty cool. Even though I lost all 3 times in pool...but I won twice in darts :) It was pretty cool...
