Thelma never bothered to knock, nowadays. She merely opened the door to the room and peered her head in.

"You up?" she asked.

[ihatefrills]

"Unfortunately," Cassie grumbled, putting a bottle of shampoo down on her desk rather harder than necessary before she turned around.

"Is it really so much to ask for a decent night's sleep?"

"...oh no," Thelma said, catching Cassie's drift.

[ihatefrills]

"No. Exactly." Cassie said, not really paying that much attention to the actual response.

Thelma frowned. "Well... we have some friends working on solving our problems, at least."

[ihatefrills]

"Having said you've been networking, you know you never actually did mention specifically who with," Cassie said, abandoning what she'd been doing before to look at Thelma.

"Currently, we've got Jack Harkness, Mister Aziraphale and the Winchesters on the job," Thelma said. "They seem to know what they're doing, which is nice."

She hoped this would seem reassuring.

Cassie hummed non-commitally. She still had her reservations about talking to anyone on this one. Stubborn girl.

"...see, this is what you get for cooping yourself up," Thelma said. "You don't realize we have some very talented people and the Winchesters working on this."

Yes, talented people and the Winchesters were seperate categories in Thelma's book, right now.

"Last I knew, at least one of the Winchesters still want you dead dead," Cassie reminded her.

"Well, yes," Thelma said. "Wasn't quite my idea to get them involved."

"Well, I suppose, they're willing to help..." Cassie said grudgingly. "I wouldn't turn that down."

"Yes," Thelma said. "Are... you going to be okay?"

Cassie nodded. "I'll be fine. It's all just bad dreams, right?"

"You just seem... on edge," Thelma said.

"If you'd seen what I just saw, you would be too."
