"There was this slight bit in the book about how if Azazeal's child were to die, the rift between the worlds of the dead and the living would heal... meaning no more ghosts," Thelma said.
"...well, now you know why I was having trouble keeping it together," Thelma said. "But now, I think we might need to be more concerned about the release of 200 Nephilim."
Cassie rubbed her forehead. Nothing like worrying about soul eating demons when you're trying to recover from general anaesthetic to make you agitated.
"We'll just have to deal with that when it comes to it," she said. "I don't see what else we can do."
"So, how are we celebrating Christmas tonight?" Cassie asked, arching an eyebrow. She was quite happy to delay thinking about the bad things until another day.
