my computer is about half built. i have to hook up some more of the motherboard cables, and buy a few cables too for the dvd drive and the second hard drive. sam helped me today, in exchange for a fillet-o-fish and a double cheeseburger. I got a new monitor. 17 inches of flat screen LCD goodness.
My dad's car stereo was stolen last week by the rowland movie theater. it was a really nice stereo (well, not really nice, but better than stock) and now it's gone. some people are assholes. our garbage can was stolen last week, too. WHO THE FUCK STEALS GARBAGE CANS!? if you were going to steal something, why not something of worth? i'm almost completely certain you can get them for free from the city if you just ask, which we had to do. in the two days of not having a garbage can, my dog got into the garbage like 3 times and made a huge mess, because that's what she does. who got to clean it up? me.
last night at kelsie's was fun. screwdrivers and rambling is a good time in my book any day. I've decided i want to hang out with jeremy and jenni more often. they're some cool kids.
New year's eve....ah new year's eve. it was kinda a bust, but not completely. nothing like last year: driving around (Kelsie, Danielle, Steph and I) going to a few lame parties and ending up sitting around at my house watching tv for a few good hours. This one involved hanging out with people. i wanted to get drunk, but fate was to have none of that. i went home sober as a pope.
The show with alexis and danielle was pretty good. i should hang out with her more too. Met some guys named Tim and Vince from G Is Us, and hung around with them and alexis most of the time. They were pretty awesome, even more so by the fact that they were in love with MSI. that was a terribly structured sentence. Some drunk girl said i was cute/adorable, and the music was good, and we crammed like 7 people into a bathroom stall in the little girl's room, and i had a mushroom teriyaki burger and fries served to us by an awesome waitress. It was a good night.
In the spirit of skipping around between days: Yesterday (Thursday) at work fucking blew. about 5,000 people were there. literally. i asked my boss today. At one point, you couldn't see an empty space in the lobby, because it was so full of people. Laura and Raf (who doesn't read this) could verify this for you. at another point, all our computers died, and we had to manually sell tickets. kinda sucked. that day made me hate people more than any other day of work. just people in general. "you're trying to scalp me, aren't you?! I want free tickets!" there are a lot of bitches in this county. most of them are middle-aged moms. and i want to punch them all in their ovaries so they can't have any more children.
AND NIKI IS AWESOME IN GENERAL, BUT MORESO TODAY BECAUSE SHE BOUGHT ME RESERVOIR DOGS ON DVD.
